This is absolutely impressive work, and the way of implementation is surprising. I couldn't imagine that a single dll file in game folder can bring such complicated changes. Great job!
All of the mentioned in Readme fixes and enhancements work fine. However, now there is no "is no more" message in the centre of the screen after you die on your own or suicide

Anyway, it seems counterproductive to have any content check enabled.
Too much time passed since content check disappeared in BF1942, returning it under the current circumstances will speed up server death

Hotkeys don't work in bf42, automatic switch also.
Works for me with right Ctrl

The only 2 bugs I encountered on win 11 is that
-you can't change the keyboard layout mid game (from typing EN to RU for example)
-sometimes when the game is folded (alt-tabbed), it can crash in a few minutes
On 10 it's same, and sometimes game crashes instantly after Alt+Tab. Layout issue can be solved with switcher software

Thanks for the help. I confused rear with front view.
I am thinking of the view when the cam is constantly in front of the vehicle.
The question is, can the angle be changed so that front view looks like image 2 instead of original view of image 1.

Possible with modding, but requires either two players in vehicle or bot in driver's seat

Sometimes Shadowplay on my laptop suddenly stops recognizing DirectX 8/9 games, and the only thing that fixes it is resaving custom settings for them in Nvidia Control Panel. These settings work for me

After changes game feels smoother and less laggy for sure, but regs seem to stay same for me no matter what.
I don't support any silent changes in game, in my opinion at least ones which affect gameplay in general should always be announced. Would be great to have just more transparency regarding them.
Сonsidering current state of the game, experimenting with gameplay is unacceptable because it will only bring complete death of this game closer

Since the Gametracker reset I have been trying to keep track of my scores. Days when I've had over 100 points, gametracker reports less than 50. I see it doing the same thing to others who I know had higher scores than I did. It definitely has problems, probably all along.
It counts kills only, just in case

It can't be done with game settings, but in general it's possible and would be considered cheating because of modifying game files

I have checked the forum and the only info I found was ziba's mod with menu001.rfa
I have installed it and it doesn't work for me.
It changes map vote message only, makes it smaller and moves to a different place. If you placed it in correct folder, it should work
Does anybody have a solution? Should the menu.rfa / font.rfa be opened in a special tool and modified manualy? It it a lot of work?
There is a solution only for a bigger font of nametags and console since they use the same. It's possible to make font smaller with both menu.rfa and font.rfa editing but it's too time consuming, not worth it.
You can either use
game.chatOutline 0command in GeneralOptions.con in your profile folder (set read-only for that con file after editing) which removes outline 
or just lower resolution.
I have smaller fonts with 1600 x 900 on 1920 x 1080 display. Difference in image quality isn't that big, but maybe for me only.

Only last one (master server patch) affects server browser. Most likely something went wrong during its installation. Try to install it manually from zip version https://www.moddb.com/games/battlefield … 2org-patch
You just need to replace your BF1942.exe file

Ожидаю, что все поддерживающию ZV патриоты выстроятся в очередях в военкоматы.
Пока никто из знакомых еще почему-то добровольцем не пошел. У кого "здоровье не позволяет", у кого "жена и дети".
Очевидная простая истина снова в действии - пиздеть не мешки ворочать.
Хотелось бы послушать их мнения здесь, но что-то они все куда-то запропастились
