Yah, none of that would be so if not for muhammed, his madness and spreading it over the globe, Islam takes credit for that one again, like so many things

Nah my friend if you think Islam was the reason of partition of India in 1947 then you are wrong. The actual reason was far more political than you think.

In India’s most popular political party of the time Congress, Mr. Jinnah was a famous Muslim leader and he was initially opposed to partition on religious lines. But by late 20’s he was losing influence and appeal in Indian national politics.

Elections to the provinces seemed to indicate that Congress did well in the General Constituencies (where there were no reservations for any religious group) but the League's success in the seats reserved for Muslims was just spectacular and enormous! So, obviously, Jinnah, keen on political power, thought that he could be the first Prime Minister if there was a separate nation for Muslims. So, it was only in 1946 that he demanded for PAKISTAN.

In March 1946, the British Cabinet sent a three member mission to Delhi to examine this demand and suggest a suitable political framework. It agreed that India should remain united with some autonomy for Muslims in N.Western and Eastern areas but they could not make the Congress and the League unite to agree to the specific details of the proposal. The Muslim League would not give up either, as it had fixed in mind that it would come into power if a separate nation was formed for Muslims was formed. Partition became more or less inevitable.

The actual transfer of power to India and Pakistan proved to be bloody and bitter. The estimated loss of life during the partition of India is one million. Besides, 14-18 million people were forced to cross the international border in search of safe havens.

According to the partition memory of 1947, Gangs of killers set whole villages aflame, hacking to death men and children and the aged while carrying off young women to be raped. Some British soldiers and journalists who had witnessed the Nazi death camps claimed Partition’s brutalities were worse: pregnant women had their breasts cut off and babies hacked out of their bellies; infants were found literally roasted on spits.

By March 1947, hundreds of thousands of people were killed and violence had spread, women were raped, millions forced to leave their homes and become mere alien refugees in another country, India changed, many of its cities changed, and a new country Pakistan was born.
So, the joy of our independence from British rule came with the pain and violence of partition.

fyi my ancestors used to live in lahore(now in pakistan) and had to leave everything they had behind and come to India during the partition. There is also a partition museum in my city, if you wanna visit you are welcome my friend.

Well you my hometown is Amritsar,Punjab where the attari border is located.

i have seen retreat ceremony countless number of times but still feels fresh and amazing.

of course there are loads of people there everyday(overpopulation) so its a bit difficult to fully see it unless you have a vip pass.
and during independence or republic day you are lucky if you made it out alive due to stampede and what not XD
And the electric barbed wires run across the border and and if you are seen trespassing or something you will be shot on sight.

Idk how many times I've already said it but ping doesn't depend on your speed/bandwidth or changing your protocol settings(i have the same ping with 512 kB/s and with 10 mB/s) ,it depends on distance and routing between client and server.

jime bhai

sabse sahi yehi hai ki DSL wala connection hi lo par game LAN wali tar laga ke hi khelo. ho sake to badi bandwidth wala plan change krlo.
baki raha sawal ping ka to wo hamesha jyada hi rarhegi kyuki ping net ki speed pe depend nhi krti par host or client ke distance pe depend krti hai.

hi jime1

just like you i used to play with a wireless connection to play BF1942 and had over 300ms ping with lots of lag spikes.by using ethernet cable with router i get a stable ping of ~200ms in euro servers. As you know the condition of ISPs in our country(BSNL smile ) i prefer switching to cable.
And also use TcpOptimizer just like Arkos said.
