The server seems to be working but, it doesn't appear on the ingame server list. I can connect to it manually. Also has port 14567 so its possible for other players to connect. I read a thread that tuia wrote about having another port on 23000, so it can appear on the ingame list. I cant figure out why ingame commands don't work and why server doesn't show? It could be I need a different version of Server Manager.
The one that appears on the Manual shows it says "BF1942 Dedicated Server Manager v2.0 beta" and I have "BFSM Server Manager v2.0 (final)" which is the one from SiMPLE. Are they different version exe, or the same? If they are the same I still don't understand why commands don't work ingame?
Its in the Technical Help forum, and for another server. I'm still trying to get ingame commands to work, even though I added myself on the Administrator list, the commands aren't working ingame, and I checked my keyhash, and name for Remote/Server Manager. It could be the Remote isn't functioning or registering the changes made in user settings.
Patching the "bf1942_w32ded.exe" did work, and crashes once in the beginning and then the server stays live. However another problem is, I tried administrator commands in the server and it didn't work. I did add myself and keyhash and allowed access for me and the commands don't work ingame. Thanks for the help again bud.
When I start the Server Manager, a "BF1942_w32ded.exe" file opens and then starts the server. The problem is it opens and closes every 5 seconds and restarts the server again. At this rate I can barely see the server live, not to mention I cant even connect to it because it doesn't give me time to. Its basically like the server restarting over and over again. Tried to access the Remote Manager (yes I created a user account) and it says it "timed out" or " Server and Remote have different protocol". I checked the ip's and ports, and they are correct. The version of Remote/Server Manager im using are the patched (final) ones 2.0 that can be found on this site SiMPLE.
Could use some help, I tried just about everything, Any help is welcomed. Thanks
