Someone pretending to be Maj.MerliN

Some idiot decided it would be funny to impersonate Maj.MerliN. He claimed to be the real one, but had very poor grammar and spelling in the chat. He seemed to be wanting to flame the real MerliN, and I was there only shortly before I exit to report him here. The map was Battle of Britain. He was on the Allied team (I think?). He left the match saying "cya niggers".

If anyone ever needed to be banned, it's this guy. How dare he troll such a good player.

Maybe this is shaka's revenge? He was trolling MerliN (and me) a few nights ago. I hope he doesn't go after me.

Also, (real) Maj.MerliN, try to keep this on-topic, OK? wink

EDIT: 100th post!

Wonder if it's the same player with the [GT3some] tag on yesterday.

Re: Someone pretending to be Maj.MerliN

The only [G3TSOME] player I've seen recently is PipeR, and he's pretty trustworthy. He has an account here, and no reason to troll Merlin. There are other [G3TSOME]s I'm not aware of?

I think the impersonator is probably shaka or another person with a grudge against MerliN.

If left unbanned, this guy could give a really bad name to a very good player.

Re: Someone pretending to be Maj.MerliN

Given the ping it's likely this could have been Jedder or one of his cronies, ever since me and tom waged nonstop ownage on noob server for repeat intrusion into other servers, being racist fascists we felt it was right to tell them it like it was, so it filters all through Brazil, Portugal, France, Germany, Russia, Hungary, Turkey likely, Florida USA, one network of game trolls some of which still set on berating bf42 even out of old grudges, many of them active cyber criminals, ongoing for years now
at least a potato vouches for me though, there's always that

@Space Potato, and no I say, NEVER! ever notice how you get brainfreeze when you drink too much cold stuff?

Hey Tater....Piper is a femme fatale.

These types do this to generate visible activity...if you feel the need to report a person doing this...much better results would be PMing an admin and they will share the info with other admins.
That accomplishes many things at once...the least of which is the asshat gets no morbid satisfaction from reading about the "trouble" they caused.

Hmm... I have a funny feeling about who's impersonating.

Probably AzurdosBAL. He doesn't "play" anymore, just troll.

But next time I see the impersonator on, I'll take screenshots and PM and admin.

Note the intentional misspelling, GT3some. It's not in the server rules, but if I see someone pretending to be part of a clan they aren't part of, they need a kick. A misspelling that is intentionally confusing is a bit of a grey area, but after consideration, if I see it in the future, I'll also kick.

Really? I thought that was just a typo. But yeah, I agree, clan fakers need to be kicked. I hope this impersonator doesn't go after other players.
