@Coco... nice that you liked it. Very underrated movie...
You should also watch Nebraska. At the beginning a bit slow but later very funny. I like because the characters are like ordinary people, not like other movies... brilliant

Try it if you like history. Of course you have learnt something about Egypt in school but this film has another insight contrary to what you already know.
this looks good
Still being under the impression of the Martian, I strongly recommend to watch this film to those who loves science fiction because it's probably the best film in this genre over the last years. Even though the film leaves a lot of questions after watching, the probability of occurrence of the events from this film, taking into account people's intellectual curiosity and technologies of the future, is closer than, for example, The Star Wars, where everything is pure fiction.
The movie "Magnolia" which is intensely chaotic in the beginning and then at the end, (3 plus hours later) it all comes into clarity.

Interesting is that Jason Robards plays a man dying of lung cancer in the film, while he REALLY is dying of cancer in life. Its his final film.
Don't know if anyone has seen this, but it's idea is amazing!

"The Thirteenth Floor was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Science Fiction Film, but lost to The Matrix.
Despite receiving generally negative reviews upon its release, the film is now considered a cult classic." WP

The book was really good, its often something of a downer to look at the movie afterwards tho.

Are you saying it's better than Interstellar?

More than imagining how technologies of the future would be, I kind of like when science fiction is a pretext for a small philosophical tale or a funny problem of logic. Azimov did this very well.
This movie is very well done but a bit empty.
Yeah it was good, but of course they had to cut out a lot of stuff from the book or it would have been like 4 hour long. In the book there was more emergencies like the oxygen gizmo went kaputt and he got high because of some something with air etc.
