screen doing wierd things

Hi, whenever I play Battlefield for more than 5 minutes my screen goes crazy like in the screenshots below. It makes it very hard to play. I tried different setting and uninstalled/ reinstalled the game with no luck.. its on an Acer laptop. With  an Intel  I5 and Intel integrated video .. video GPU is built into the Main CPU..
Any idea why my game would be doing this and has it happened to anyone else?
Thanks..

Re: screen doing wierd things

Have you tried lowering the graphic properties to the lowest and play?

Re: screen doing wierd things

my idea is temperature, these artifacts may be cused by overheating, like when its over 100 °C
monitor your degrees after 5 min playing

most important thing : make sure there are no Fahrenheit degrees showing on your laptop, because Farenheit sucks

Re: screen doing wierd things

This looks to me like a GPU chip failure caused by bad solder runs on the mainboard.
Because you have already said that it happens after a few minutes of play would indicate that the GPU chip is getting hot and causing a weak solder join to throw up this fault.  I am afraid the looks like a warranty repair or a new mainboard.

The only other thing it could be is a break or bad connection in the main screen loom, with this fault showing press down close to both left and right screen hinges, usually left one, and see if it makes a difference.

Re: screen doing wierd things

YEP, You guys got it right. I made a wood 2x2 frame to go underneath the laptop and left enough space for a fan, so it would blow through and out the side and no more problems... thx  good call..
edit: and joint/monkey  i put a monitoring program on it too i was running 190 f..88 c while in the game..damb hot..think intel's take heat better than AMD's,, so I have read. I know if my desktop AMD got that hot it would be toast.. or have shut down before.
(core temps) didnt work for me had some wierd off set that I had no idea what number to put in..it was giving me crazy numbers.

I know surrender mokney tv... http://surrendermonkeys.tv/
