Should SiMPLE host another tournament?

As the SiMPLE knife tournament seems to have been the most successful tournament held (32 participants), I propose we should have another tournament hosted by SiMPLE.

I was thinking since most of the last tournaments were infantry oriented, that we could have a tank 1vs1 tournament. There was already a dogfight competition on the forums, but no tank 1v1 tournament has been held so far.

Personnaly, I think we could have a 16 or 32 man 1v1 knockout tournament held on the map Aberdeen. Lights or heavies only, both players agree on what tanks to use at the beginning of the round.

If you vote for another tournament (Yes), please specify what format it should take (Inf, Tank, Dogfight) and some general rules and specifications.

Re: Should SiMPLE host another tournament?

There are some issues about hosting tournaments, mainly, getting players to play their matches in due time. That was the problem with knife tournament. The used solution was getting players to contact each other to arrange their matches through forum private messages or Xfire, but that did not work out well. And our tournament website is rather basic, it does not help much in scheduling matches.
Any infantry, dogfight or tank tournament can be successful, as they are all popular gameplays, if there is a good organization and a tournament website which automates almost everything.

Each participant should write their local time zone in a set format.
For example: GMT time.
So it will be easier to plan the matches.

Then make a table of participants with time and here u go. I think we can  make it even manually...maybe smile
