About a kick

Hallo and I hope this is not the wrong forum. If so, please tell me where else to post it.

Just something that happened to me some days ago: It was I think in Gazala. German air field. I jump into a Stuka Ju87. I see two guys there behind. I shout "jump in", and want to wait for one of them to be my gunner. But my problem: I have a joystick (Thrustmaster), and the plane stops only when the gas lever is in the middle. The slightest deviation, and it goes back or forth. I try to find the middle, it is not easy. So i do not fully stop, but gently roll forward, then backward, forward, backward, just so that someone who wants to be gunner CAN jump in.

After about half a minute I see that no one wants to be my gunner. OK, I think, then let me fly alone. While I am thrusting forward and out of a strange angle try to go straight, I get a message that I am kicked from the game because of blocking it (or some other formulation, don't remember).

You can imagine that I was a bit pissed in that moment. My first visit on your server, full of hopes, and being treated as if I was obstructive? Not the nicest experience!

Never mind, but I would like to know whether I got it right. Was this the reason for my kick? Or were there other factors, too? In which case I would like to learn!

So, dear Admins, for the future: When you see some two-seater plane gently going forth and back, and the pilot shouting "jump in", then this pilot has a weird joystick setting and is waiting for a gunner to jump in. And it is probably me then, trying to be CONstructive! ;-)

Yes you were preventing my plane from coming out of the hangar, it was annoying because i could have flew away after few seconds and because another[or the same peter] was known for disrupting other people's gameplay i thought a warning wouldnt be in the right place.. sry for that if you wanted to take of (

Better even, in this case, the kick was justified. Probably a warning would have been good, I am the absolute beginner online. But no prob, if that is the rule, it is OK with me. Just wanted to understand the kick, which I do now. Thanks for the explanation!

One small advice for the future: If you use a joystick and can´t stop your plane from moving back and forth, press the '^' button to open the console. While the console is open your plane won´t move, even if your joystick is on fullspeed.

rofl, ofc that moonnerd fucks something up. Well first off all, you landed ur plane into the hangar. then its YOUR problem to get out, the player was never disrupting because he was waiting. You instead of disrupting because u were making noise in the hangar
