Have you guys ever tried to play on "Omaha charlie sector 1944" map ?

For me, it could be very interesting to try it on the server. It is the kind of map that needs like around 60 people to be awesome !

It's Forgotten Hope Secret Weapons mod. There's no version of this map for vanilla BF so it can't be played on New Maps

I don't know if I am mistaken but I think that there was a map that could be played as a BF 1942 map.

It could be awesome to play a comparable map on SiMPLE server ! It is not possible to try to adapt this map ?

There is a similar map Omaha Sector D for vanilla BF1942, but I think it's not that good. That Omaha Charlie sector 1944 map from FHSW mod looks great.

Its name is "Omaha beach dog green sector 1.3"

I have just tested it, the map seems to be interesting. The beach is much larger, there are more bunkers, etc. It seems to be more realistic

it's awful. we once played it in a clanwar some years ago.
very dark, so you cant see anything, no chance to dodge nades or expacks or to scout infs... totally shit

Well well well... I already had difficulties to make ads for my maps, if you change the subject I can throw it to the bin. x(
Anyway, a new "omaha", why not, but given that we don't even have 64 players on classic maps, should we hope to have that much on new maps server... ?

Make it a match day with 3 or 4 teams, playing all against each other. I don't know if 3 vs. 3 is enough for the map, it would then be easier to get some teams.

I could try converting the map from FHSW to BF1942.

tuia, yes it could be great, but people who want to play it are not all players from league. And 3 vs 3 is few. We need at least 6/6. 8/8 would be perfect.

Help is welcome. Of course. But about the map "Training Day", not about other maps (even if I agree trying your propositions)
I try to spread MY map, and if we speak about other maps, readers may get lost in the discussion and it won't have any effect, for you as for me.

People interested by trying "Training day", come sometimes look at this topic so that I'll try to find a day when I'll be sure to have it running, so that we can meet & play it.

tuia, did you manage to put my map in New Maps Server ? And/or in the New Maps Installer ?
