Re: * * * Coronavirus * * *

Thank you for the kind words smile

My doc said I should expect my symptoms to ramp up this weekend. I've already notice quite a difference since just 24hrs ago. Lying down is uncomfortable because my coughing increases and is "harder" or whatever you want to call it and even woke me up a few times. So I just sit in a La-z-boy recliner and be a bum smile

Re: * * * Coronavirus * * *

i could do some internet research, but instead im gonna ask sun and other simplers :

in case one gets real sick from covid19 in your country and require intensive care; respirator etc., will that be free, or do you have to pay or have some kind of health insurance ?

in denmark, any covid19 treatment in hospitals is completely free for everybody

Government said a bit ago that testing and treatment will cover the cost for uninsured people.

Do get your lungs fully checked when you recover and its safe, since this virus can permanently damage your lungs.

Bad Actor probably knows.

I'm guessing I will have to see a pulmonologist because of my history anyway. He'll probably do a x-ray, pft, etc.

Re: * * * Coronavirus * * *

Oki so this propably the wrong forum to ask or speculate, but ill give it a try anyway. So there was somebody that speculated about using cleaner to destroy the virus in the body, and ofc he got immediately shot down, because toxic.

But it got me thinking, we know corona dies from alcohol (the coronavirus has an envelope structure which alcohol can attack) so what would actually happen if one breathed in alcohol in vapor form.?
I´ve been around cars that runs on alcohol and they have a special fragrance so to speak, however i guess its very low volume procentage but i never heard of anyone been sick from it either.

Hey seventy, thanks for your message.

Still recovering, been out of hospital 3 weeks now but still get breathless easily, lungs ain't there yet.
Got a scan in about 2 weeks to check things over.

That is definitely not me in my avatar, can't believe you asked that.
You serious?  smile

It's symbolic.

Hey Sunshine, they should schedule another chest X-Ray about 6 weeks after.
I've been out 3 weeks but still not 100%.

They reckon it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get back to normal if not longer.

Glad you are getting better!

I am oh so pleased to be part of the club tongue

My fever went up just a little bit and the coughing is total shit. Feel worse than last night. It's physically exhausting and just hurts to breath and feels like all my chest and back muscles are just worn out. I guess my doc was right saying the symptoms were going to get worse this weekend :-/ Hopefully I start getting better soon.

As much as I enjoy sitting at home watching tv and playing bf42, it's absolutely shitty when that's literally like the only damn thing I can do.

I assume breathing in vapor from + 80% ethanol  would both kill you and the virus, but who knows... I  also bet it would hurt abit while inhaling. I haven't tried tho, so I don't know how the sensation would feel like, sure cant be a pleasure.
Otherwise the idea was genius! Keep going strong man.  You should send this idea to Trump, he would probably support it.

At this point in the lunge, i think ethanol comes not through.

Into the alveole is just O2 and Co2 transfer.

Re: * * * Coronavirus * * *

How did I ruin you day wtf? Seems like you were right and I was wrong, if there is enough data to support the article you provided.
By saying alc kills the virus I assume it's a very concentrated level  => inhaling that high of concentration = not good for anybody. I thought there had to be a reason why the concentration levels of alc in all the disinfectant products are so high. But if you suffer from pneumonia maybe, according to the article, alc concentration of 30% can have affect on the bacteria, not the virus itself.
My apologies if I "ruined" you day.
Cheers man.
