How to edit ServerList.dat?

I want to add some servers on the multiplayer server list...
How should I edit it?

I am guessing that you have a server and you are trying to have it listed on the in game internet server list, is that correct?

well, why do you write something if you don't get what a person is talking about, and it's like a personal question for you? and that's not the first time you do it, and that's pretty dumb

Ok the title of the thread is that guy wants to edit the ServerList.dat file but then goes on to say about multiplayer servers so I, during my attempt to assist this guy, was trying to ascertain which list he was referring to or did he in fact mean the in game server list as seen in game as can be seen quite clearly from my responses to him.

I was under the impression the technical helps section was setup just for this kind of thing but clearly you have other ideas and clearly I was wrong.

So who looks dumb now and if your only input to the conversation was this post and to deduct points why did you even bother or is it personal for you?

You can edit ServerList.dat with an hex-editor, because it is in binary format. HxD is a good choice for an hex-editor.
