I thought Bags was gonna post in this section, but apparently not. So I will. I appolgize for the length of the logs, but want to show everything said.

A couple of days ago on Bocage the B-17 and a mustang would occasionally attack the axis main. They never killed anybody and I couldnt see ther names so I would !wbase. I spawned in at the spawn point about 10 meters away from the middle AA gun and heard a mustang coming in, but didnt hear any AA. I started running to the jeeps and a bomb fell close enough to wound me, I was close to the end of the sandbags closest to the airfield, 10 meters away from the jeeps. I stopped and tried to see who was flying, but couldnt see the name so I thru out another !wbase. He flew straight away towards the hills north? of the airfield and turned around to come back. Thats when I heard the AA start up and Icebag$ bombed the middle AA gun and killed the guy. I looked up Icebag$ # (aka Flyin Spaghetti Monster) and went to kick him, but forgot the # and had to go back and look it up again. I noticed bags saying he was attacking the AA and tried to tell him that the bomb before that was why I was gonna kick him. Heres the logs.

My comment about "understandable" was about Flick not being able to calm him down, not that he was understandably pissed off. I got on TS and waited for Flick to tell me when I could talk and give my version of events. I waited about 4 minutes and decided to smoke a cig while waiting.

Ice is a very good player, one of the best here and tactically very very good as well. He is also wicked smart. After the meeting I believed we are all on the same page that Admins will not be denigrated and insulted in the game. TS is cool but the game is not. Players need to bring their issues to the Forum especially when it is a confrontation with an Admin regardless of who is right or wrong. We all agreed to warn, (unless the player is a regular and knows the rules) kick then ban if the situation did not change. I hope this works out in the end and everyone walks away understanding and holding the respect where it is visible to the players, in the game. Most of the regulars simply want to play and play hard here. Lets maintain that reputation for the regulars and in this process it will invite the new folks to want to come to Simple too. The Server has been growing the last 2 months it seems. The logs look like the process was followed to the letter if I am seeing it right. Lets hope it works out well in the end!!!! We should all be able to have a blast here.

It was not. Tookie warned him, then kicked him for a legal attack on an AA.  Look at the time stamp, it was over a minute after Tookie warned Icebag$, and then kicked him.

Was on TS the night that admins add a long meeting, Icebag told me he add a disagreement whit TOOKIE and I told him that he should PM him to solve this out ! I have to say it will never be a good idea to provoke or else the admin in game. Hope everything works out!!

  While I agree with you on your point Dink, there is a much larger picture. Admins have the advantage of picking out the parts of the picture that most suites them, while leaving out the parts that show their culpability. Which I believe paints a False Light upon Icebag$.

What are you saying, all the admins at Ax and Moongamers is lying to make Icebags look bad? He can’t control his temper just read the logs Tookie posted. Why wasn’t he kicked for disruptive play? He initiated the diatribe and continued unabated from 8/2/2015 11:41:03 until 8/2/2015 13:09:16.

So an hour and 20 minute rant by Icebags is acceptable to you? You’re an admin, if he were not a friend of yours you wouldn’t have let him make a nuisance out of himself. Your backing his application for admin after melting down 3 days prior to his petition is unbelievable.

I wasn't there to see what happened, and I don't want to take one side or the other, but this discussion brings up questions for me.

I believe Flick is saying that the kick was unjustified, because it was for returning fire on an AA gun.

The way I interpret what Tookie said is that the base attacks that resulted in the kick occurred before the attack on the AA gun, but that he was unable to identify the attacker until they returned to bomb the AA.  He acknowledges the AA was firing at the time of the last attack, but claims that the AA was not firing during those previous attacks.  Now that could be total BS, or he could have identified the wrong pilot, or maybe that's what really happened, but I haven't seen anyone address that yet.

So regarding Tookie's claim about the kick being for base attacks that occurred before the last attack on the AA gun, can anyone say that that's what happened, not what happened, etc?  If so, how would that affect whether the kick was justified or not?

I never said anyone was lying, please read what I said.  It's not ALL the admin at Ax and not ALL the admin at Moongamers.  I do not feel that the initial outburst was acceptable (I told this to Icebag$ directly on TS)  11:39 - 11:44, this is approx 5 mins. The other short exchange from 12:39 - 12:42 approx 3 mins. which is residual. I count 8 mins not 80 mins. I do however stand behind the fact that if Tookie would have jumped on TS it would have never escalated to that level, they could have hashed it out and been done with it. 11:45 - 13:09  this looks like smack talk between two pilots, I have seen it on this server and others. This particular instance Icebag$ is having a conversation with Rainbow Dash.... hey, your so good at looking things up at Moongamers why don't you go see why Rainbow banned there. This is an example of calling out Rainbow Dash for what he is, without using specific words that get you kicked from the server.

Yeah, I know.  The talk I saw in the chat log by itself seemed to break at least two of the server rules.  It's just that the argument seemed to be over kicking him for returning fire on a base, whereas the original post said he was actually kicked for an earlier infraction.  I haven't seen anyone really address that by saying either "No, that's not what happened," "Yeah, that's what happened, but you kicked the wrong guy," or "Oh, I didn't realize he was kicked for that."

Although I rarely play on Simple USA, I felt this information is possibly important for this case. I used to play with Icebag$ back when =SoC= Phillies server was still around, and this exact thing happened with his outbursts of anger, so it seems it hasn't changed much. This is a common problem with Icebag$. I got nothing against the man, but Ive seen him on multiple occasions get angry just like what the logs are showing. If you havn't already, over time you will realize he has a huge temper. Do what you please with this knowledge.

I have read what you said, so where do I start? Lets start with your “legalese”:

So I have posted “public” responses to Icebags behavior from Ax, and Moongamer  servers. Unfortunately it is negative information, I can give you that but, the information presented is accurate so any impression derived from the information is one an individual derives based on the analysis of said information.

So how is the previous ban history information on Icebags that I posted untrue or misleading, as you indicated? Or are you claiming I have painted a misleading portrayal of Icebags behavior? In my opinion anyone who can’t control their temper and abide by basic rules that they will be expected to enforce is unfit to serve in an admin position.

All the information I provided is there for anyone to review. Because admin is a position of  “trust and character’ I felt a duty to point out information pertaining to the suitability of Icebags as admin. But this incident goes way deeper than Icebags. So let’s start with the incident:

     ”I do not feel that the initial outburst was acceptable (I told this to Icebag$ directly on TS) 11:39 - 11:44, this is approx 5 mins”

You are rebutting my assertion the incident was 80 minutes, that is fine the length of time has no relevance to my arguments. Thanks to you this is on going and has not been resolved yet. I will explain. So during this rant icebags was banned which accounts for the break between outbursts:

8/2/2015 11:44:28 : Server: Player IceBag$ banned.
8/2/2015 11:44:28 : Server: Banlist has been updated.

Lets talk about your culpability. You begin your other screed with the statement:

Icebags was automatically banned. So at 11:44:28 the problem was solved. So in your own words you picked “out the parts of the picture that most suites” you. Now comes the real problem with this whole incident:

8/2/2015 11:54:35 : Server: Player IceBag$ unbanned.
8/2/2015 11:54:35 : Server: Banlist has been updated.

So Icebags was banned from 11:44:28 until 11:54:35 according to the logs at 11:44 he is no longer playing the problem is solved it is no longer and issue and Icebags is history. So does he write an appeal in the forums according to the rules? NO. You circumvented the rules and unbanned him without the appeals process.

So you took it on yourself to circumvent community standards that allow others an opportunity to discuss server bans as with everyone else banned for misbehavior.

”If you have been banned and you feel that it was unfair, write your unban request including the required information:
- Your player name.
- Date and time you were banned.
- Server name.”

So you circumvented the server band appeal rules for Icebags and allows him to continue to violate the language policy for which he was banned further proving himself unfit to be and admin as you pointed out “12:39 - 12:42”. You are responsible for the situation getting out of control.  So your ban appeals rules violation has made this an unresolved issue going on several days. The only way to resolve this is Ban Icebags and let him appeal his ban like anyone else.

     I do however stand behind the fact that if Tookie would have jumped on TS it would have never escalated to that level, they could have hashed it out and been done with it.

So explain to me why Tookie should get on team speak and be abused by Icebags? Your action are inconsistent with the rules, you circumvented the deserved machine ban for Icebags then want Tookie to get on team speak to be verbally abused? If you were smart you would have left him banned.

On top of you circumventing the unban request rules, and escalating the situation, you threaten to ban me.

    why don't you go see why Rainbow banned there. This is an example of calling out Rainbow Dash for what he is, without using specific words that get you kicked from the server.

In doing so you escalate the situation that was solved. Then you try to bait Tookie into get on team speak to allow Icebags to spew more of his vitriol and subject Tookie to more abuse and now you threaten me.

You circumvent a ban of a foul-mouthed individual with serious anger issues that should be addressed by the “Ban appeal” process and allow Icebags to continue his disruptive behavior. Your actions cause me to question your judgement and suitablity as an admin.

First, when did I ever threaten to ban you? I never threatened to ban you or anyone.  Also when it comes to operator bans, I was informed that as an admin, I can remove those at my discretion.  As far as TS is concerned and Tookie joining to have a discussion, I guess it was okay when Tookie wanted Icebag$ to Join with you and me and then both you and Tookie  proceeded to verbally abuse Icebag$ with no provocation. So I guess if you can't take it I understand, but don't point your finger and say SEE what Icebag$ is doing! See what he is like. When both you and Tookie are guilty of the same type of verbal abuse. You just happen to do it in TS where only a few can hear, and then claim your innocence. Maybe you should ask Marco about how Tookie went off on him as well. Hypocrites, both of you....Over.

Your subtle hint was a kick, not a ban but it is still a threat. By your lack of “discretion” in unbanning icebags shows your lack of judgement. You could have told him to go cool off but instead you choose to allow Icebags to continue to disrupt the server.

You are not impartial, another trait one would look for in an admin. You took a flamer, Icebags’ side against Tookie, a fellow admin. I would say that confirms my observation about you judgement.

This conversation is about your lack of judgement not some conversation on team speak. You are trying to deflect the issue, your lack of impartiality, discretion and most important, judgement.

So please explain how unbanning an immature individual having a childish temper tantrum so that he can continue to disrupt the server is a good decision?  When my 5-year-old grandson has a temper tantrum he goes to “time out”.

You have more loyalty to an immature cry baby than you do to the Simple USA server. Talk hypocrisy, come on I thought you are smarter than this.

I guess I'm not reading what your reading. I never threatened or hinted any such thing to you about a ban or a kick. I was talking about the conversation between Icebag$ and Rainbow, and that Icebag$ was giving him a hard time without calling him a hacker, which will get you kicked on the Server. Also if you look at the Logs again, Icebag$ did not go on ranting non stop after he was unbanned. Go ahead, you can call me witless, or attack my intelligence if you like, it just goes to show how both you and Tookie both act when someone doesn't agree with you. Your attitude is, If you can't make me see it the way you see it, I must be unintelligent, or a dumbass as Tookie said.  Kinda funny how neither of you have even bothered to Join TS and talk about any of this with the rest of the Admin and other players that are on here.

I used the forum search looking for best screen resolution and came across this thread..
Couldn’t stop reading it.. probably doesn’t matter at this point, but I was the one on the AA.
I was mad at the time.  You can see my chat. I was trying to type on my laptop which doesn’t work for me very well.. but the pilot did just kill me and he left..I don’t remember it being this bag guy, but I remember the conversation because Flick was up set and he is always so nice to me. Then he kicked me. But afterwards I realized that flick was right.. the kick was wrong.. I actually felt really bad because I took tookies side and he is a very rude person.(with a chip on his shoulder.  Sorry,, if I caused any problems and I’m double sorry for taking the wrong side. Especially to flick. Thanx for the game play.
I probably wont respond anymore if needed because I don't come here very often. but looks like the thread is dead anyhow.
