Deathmatch game mode for BF1942

I've successfully created BF1942's first truly authentic free for all game mode. As you can see in the picture below I edited the menu.rfa in order to keep only one scoreboard. Since only one team will play and the other is obsolete, I kept only the scoreboard for the Allied team.

The death match game mode itself was created by nullifying the ''score'' column in order to keep only the kill and death columns, the ping and the ID of the players. In order words, you don't score a point every time you kill someone, only your kills and deaths are tracked. I rearranged the spawn menu so the Axis team cannot be selected, only the Allied. Of course, the minimap is disabled so you cannot see the enemy and the player tags viewing distances will be set to 0.

I have also added a bunch of radio commands such as ''nice shot'', ''hello'', ''bye'' and others for you to discover.

A few minor modifications need to be finished before the mod itself is released, such as locking the Allied/Axis team ratio to 64 to 1 so no player slips on the Axis team.

If you want to try out the mod, PM me. You need to have my battleinf 42 mod in order for this mod to work.

Nice idea, Thomas? smile

So when someone on allied kills someone else on allied it is registered as a kill?

Yes that's how it works, so friendly-fire must be on in order for the game mode to work.
Having everyone on one team also makes it possible for every player to hear and see the radio commands.

I have modified the score system so that kills do not give you a point, however they are still counted.

You forget that mods are what keeps a game alive, look at DC.
