This is a little comparison between Simple and our competitor [AX]
Sadly the truth about # of players in simple is decreasing week after week.

SIMPLE

Ax

As you see there is a big gap in pop curve which its too bad.
Q-1 Is the players drop due to certain maps?
Q-2 is players drop due to admins mismanagement? !
(Pls put a list of kicks & bans per admin)
Guys anyone of you miss that days when you have to wait mins to join server because its full?
Where is 72 slots events etc...

Nope, it's the 'botmania' server, because of some reason everyone joins it ('Why?' I have been wondering, Blitzkrieg server is 100 people server and they arent full like this one everyday) it's laggy as shit and with bots, why anyone would join it? Idk, but what I do know that since this server is here, BiHnet and SiMPLE are empty around the time I usually play there. (23:00 - 2:00)
This could be the problem, not Origin itself, but just this server...

There is just one reason: missmanagement...
Missmanagement with the admins
Missmanagement by map rotation
Missmanagement by the mods etc.

Can remember the times when the server was populated, there were just a few modificaitons, pure vanilla server and admins with experience.
NowadaYs it is so easy to become admins, bit ass licking that is enough...

Totally agree. Played today a bit on SIMPLE and mods are really destroying the fun.

Btw., if you want to play unmodded server, just go to "Schinder's List Powered by KSU"... this server is totally unmodded. Pure BF1942 as it should be and with 40 people the perfect server size.

Server like AX maybe have some Origin-trolls, but the skill level on this server is not worse than on SIMPLE.

I believe this is the last and only CD only server with a population, however if you really wanted more players -- simply allow Origin players to join. It would boost your player total to that of BF1942 Modded Midway, Blitzkrieg or Dogfights servers, no doubt.

Although, if you want to maintain such a population, you would need to start from scratch in terms of admins.

SiMPLE has fewer players than servers origin naturally but don't forget that SIMPLE is the server which has least to hacker, I can certify it.
SiMPLE has also a population with regular and fair players.
I don't worry about SiMPLE.

This could be the problem, not Origin itself, but just this server...

Botmania is fake they changed some of the offsets in the server executable ( i also did this with my server for some time) it always says: 120/128 and it is also a link to modded midway. When you join it you can see in the right corner it says Modded midway.
Also --=[ AX ]=-- uses links too it has 3 ax servers in the list but it all gets redirected to --=[ AX ]=--

s-sk explained why there are 3 server... it is not on purpose. however, this is not the reason why the server is full all the time.

I think it's because it accepts origin + cd and when the origin version was released alot of people did go to AX after a while and it started to get popular
And btw I didn't know the AX links weren't on purpose

Why you keep writing shit about the server?! Do you prefer to play Stalingrad, Berlin, Kharkov or Kursk unmodded with all the nade spamming and planeraping? Good for you, I don't. Not to mention other classic maps with their inherent flaws. Do you prefer waiting and fighting to get a tank in Aberdeen or Battle of the Bulge? And do you prefer playing against cheaters or disruptive players because there are no admins present?
You can't imagine the hours and days wasted to mod some maps to make them more balanced or interesting and sorting all the bans of cheaters and trolls. You can't please everyone and right now I ignore some of the comments because they are always negative.
SiMPLE servers population is somewhat stable. There are some current technical problems to fix, though. But if you have any problems with any abuse of admin rights, report them. Just don't write stuff like "admin is a moron, I don't like him, remove his admin rights".

I agree, there are a lot of disbalanced maps and it's not appropriate to keep these maps unmodded, because it may affect the gameplay when the server is full.

Why planeraping? First of all there is always an admin online, so don't worry about planerapes. And if you just add 2 flaks on Kurst and Kharkov everything is fine. On Aberdeen you didn't just add more tanks, you also added a jeep and a APC, which doesn't make sense on this map, because it is a tank map. It would be enough if you just add like 5 tanks in the main base instead of the the flags.

I really appreciate your work tuia, but i am not a fan of modding maps whatsoever and shitty maps like Midway, Phily or Coral Sea. You can still have a lots of fun without mods and balanced good games. If on one team are only nubs this team will always lose, doesn't matter how the map is modded. Just a question, is it possible add a feature like when a player join the server, he should not be allowed to switch the teams? I mean there are playing who are always playing on the same easy side. I think i don't have to say who, because we know who the lameasses here are.

And above that, i asked you before and you never answered. There is another SIMPLE server which is empty all the time. Isn't it a waste of server? Just put unmodded maps there, but only the best maps like: Kharkov, Bocage, Aberdeen, Tobruk, BX, Bulge, Market Garden, Wake, Iwo, El Ala, Gazala, Guadal, Stalin, Berlin (on Berlin remove tanks please) and open it for Origin player... is it possible?

Not really, but i don't get killed too often by nades i think. One possibility could be to reduce the splash of the nades or reduce it to 3 nades only. I mean if there are tanks, you also need nades to kill it. Otherwise tanking is too easy for the tanker. Even nubs get good stats in tank on Stalin.

after the 5fth time I get teamkilled by a guy throwing a random nade I usually press alt-f4.

But with a smaller map rotation it can be bad since there are already a fair amount of large maps. I would add Omaha, i always enjoyed and its a classic like it or not.
