I can't agree with you, players coming there because vanilla server is full (or almost full).

I got to play RTR+SW every day this week. There were people every day on it. I haven't seen that for a year, have you ?

Many of the players plays almost exclusively on RTR+SW - Yehodi, Dux(nor), MARISTAN, Gutten, Tussiman, Hans Wurst, Junior, Konfuzus, Silva... They played on Schiedler with bots.

I think the best way could be to kick the bots as soon as 10 players are connected on the server. Is it possible tuia ?

cant kick bots, but its possible to stop them from spawning.

Had a similar idea, but I thought it was not possible.

i dont know how to make it automatic, but you can stop them from spawning by using bfsm admin command thing.

game.autoSpawnbots 0

works fine to stop them from spawning but dont make any "start spawning" command because it usually crashes the server.

i think it resets when next map loads.

You can't enable bots again, but when another map starts, bots are back. Once you use that command, till end of round there are no bots spawning.

Would be usefull if there was a command like !addbots # and # ammount of bots spawn. So u can remove them all from beginning and add the right ammount if needed.

I tried just now the !nobots commands on RtR + SW (22 real players) but bots still playing and spawning. What is the problem ?

sorry, its been awhile since i modded anything, had to refresh my memory

dug around a bit and found some code that can turn on/off the botspawn without crashing the server, use 0 for stop and 1 for allow as usual

aiSettings.setRespawnAllowed

if you want to kill of all of the bots thats still in the map playing, you can use

ai.killallbots

Now instead offing the bots admins must write !nobots every round of new map. Nice solution tuia.

The question still stands: Do you prefer playing in an empty server with no bots or a server with some bots and that has some players?
You can't change it all out of a sudden. It was evident without bots that the server was most of the time empty and now it's growing in numbers.

It is growing because players see people on server and joining. I prefer to play with real players instead mixed team of players and bots with player names.
If I want to play with bots, I go single-player. Just my opinion.

Without bots server would be empty, it was evident some months ago. And you can disable bots with a simple command.
