Bots on RtR + SW ?

Yesterday Bidji and I were playing on an other RtR + SW server, because de the SIMPLE was empty. We found there ~10 players (with known players for RtR+SW server Dux(Nor) Yehoodi, Messerjockel, alceste, bob, ...).

On this server there are bots players. I think it is the reason why RtR+SW players connected on this server and not on the SIMPLE. Then with a few people it is possible to play our maps.

Bots players are really sad and play with humans is very better. But RtR+SW server is often empty. May be we should try to introduce bots on this server ? I think we can for example have 10 bots. When someone connect, one bot disappear. So if there is less than 10 players on the server, we should have bots. And when there is more than 10 players, we should have only humans (which is the best). We can play always with at least 10 players and maybe it can improve the servers frequentation ?

No sense to set coop mod on RTR-SW server, enough to make no key server full and people will join RTR-SW because they have no choice (except Tanks a lot server). smile

Add bots, open up the serv to no-keys or wathever... we need to do something. It's a pity to see the RTR+SW empty and at the same time Dux, Yehoodi and many others playing on another serv.

Some other idea.
I made El_Alamein to Secret Weapons mod (cq,coop only)and it works, maybe it needs some "correcting" about the equal vehicles of the sides but playable.
If you want to test it i can upload somewhere.

If i remember correctly the Natter is going up from a rocket launcher.
I just fast converted the map, but i will try if the Natter can take off from the land. If not i try to put in the launcher pad.

The aw52 place is not nice i know, you have take off first with that, but after spawn for me it didn't destroy. But i think i can fix the place of it.
Bots can take off with it. big_smile

Did you find the jetpacks? ^^

Well i cant even enter in aw coz get destroyed dunno why,i found only one jet ^^ how much did you add big_smile . Map is great for those fast planes,bora pro will like this smile

Road to Rome and Secret Weapons maps have to be changed somewhat, I think there is lack of vehicles in some.
I'm not sure if it's possible to add a fixed number of bots to maps. Bots will fill all players slots, meaning if it's a 48 players slot server, it will have 24 bots each side.

Its should be possible to limit them, both as fixed server value and/or map based

If you want bots in conquest mode it takes a lot more codefiddling within each map you want them in.

If its worth it i dont know, i have some bots flying around in my Coral server mostly as easy target practise. If i give them bomb planes they pick off snipers with great precision smile

The only way to have some players on rtr+sw server is to merge it with classic maps or make event day to take place saturdays and sundays.

2Moon - it's possible. Yesterday I saw around 20-30 players on RTR-SW server (vanilla had around 40-60 players).
