TeamSpeak Channel

Hi everyone,

what about having some teamspeak channels for teamplaying in battlefield?
I remember, when i played years ago in a clan we had this little teamspeak window on the homepage that showed who was currently online in which channel.
People could join an axis or allies channel and concert their actions on the battlefield.

I think this software is still for free...

Hi Granny,

I think there is a Mumble channel for chat. Can't remember the ip address right now, but surely somebody can help out.

everyone uses teamspeak, so imo its better to use that instead of mumble

anyway, i already installed mumble and found the simple channel. all is already set up well. but.... i was the only one. i hope some people will join next time.

most of them use teamspeak
i used SiMPLE mumble once

only clan players seem to use ts/mumble/whatever and they use their own servers

true, and most of them require a password or the state "registered", which can be given only by an admin/moderator.
its hard for "public" players to get into a team's ts without an invitation

I set a Mumble channel because it is open-source and has no license limit as TeamSpeak has. However, most players use TeamSpeak client and it already supports Opus codec, which is the best codec for voice communication and small bitrate audio. Maybe change to TeamSpeak if it's much better than Mumble, I have to test it.

also, 1 disadvantage that i think mumble has is that when someone joins or leaves you dont hear it, while in ts you hear when someone joins or leaves

Are you sure about that?! Have you tried latest Teamspeak version? I installed latest Mumble v1.2.4 and it always crashed, so switched back to Teamspeak.
Teamspeak channel is ready. Connect to 188.165.220.115 and make sure you have the latest Teamspeak version to enjoy Opus voice codec quality.
