Aberdeen points allocation.

Some while ago the Aberdeen points allocation was switched from 3 points for a flag to 1 point the same as for a kill. This did not last. Perhaps 2 points for a flag and 1 for a kill would meet equity for players who chase flags like Mario Kart and the ones who operate as hunter-killers. Otherwise you can end up with the top player winning it for his team with 50 flag points 25 kills and 50 deaths. Which only proves he can take flags which 50% of the time are undefended. Win or lose. That's no way to win a medal.

How many points should be awarded for taking a control point in Tanks a lot server?

I agree, plus, to separately include points that are awarded only to you, for : 1. The game itself (and not afk) 5 points. 2. Arrival at your position (ridge to the right of the red base) 5 points. 3. For each of your kills, which are distinguished by their rarity, uniqueness, originality, award 10 points. How do you like the idea?

I agree that 2 points for a flag and 1 for a kill is fair.  "Otherwise you can end up with the top player winning it for his team"  This is the point of the round. Winning for one's team. Kills are nice to have but they don't win the round, Flags do.

You're either a team player or not.
Your disdain (Sepp) for 'flag takers' is ridiculous.

Taking flags is risky with so many respawning zookers and miners. Hiding in the shadows with their tnt  hidden, zooks at the ready!
(respawn time should be increased!).
Sometimes you have to take one for the team to clear the flag of tnt
.If you don't the clock loses the battle for your team.
If you don't understand that Sepp you can't be taught.
If you're too scared of dying so be it. Don't blame others for your insecurities.
Amd I remind you ITS ONLY A GAME

The poll was revealing. It showed most were in favor of 2 and 1 points for a flag cap not 3. I don't take flags because I want all my points to come from kills so I hardly ever win a medal. If I am in a tank near an enemy flag I will kill whatever is there and then wait guarding it for a team mate to arrive and take it. I move on as soon as possible. It's no good saying only flags win the round when you have to kill what's between them and at them. if you drive from a friendly flag to an enemy flag and turn it friendly with not so much of a squeak of trouble on the way you are on you heading for a gold medal. I would like to add, if possible, make the city the only flag on Aberdeen worth 3 points?

If you really want a gold medal you need to do both. Kill and take flags.
One or the other won't do it usually.
Yes I do agree 2 points is best. Three was an attempt to curb score whoring but it didn't really work.
Three for the middle is an intriguing idea though!
It's definitely harder to take and usually key to the games outcome.
