Hello all,

thank you all for the help and advice. Unfortunately it still doesn't work. I managed to get my soundsettings as Kobra suggested and it worked for a few minutes. But then the game froze again and sound was off.....

i switched ASIO and direct sound ....no effect

Nevermind dear supporters !

Let's wait and seee if someone else has a glue wink

Hi everyone and especially the technical Pro's here (I suspect tuia e.g.)

I am having an issue with mumble recently:
The program worked quite well together with BF1942 for a while before problems appeared.

When i start mumble now, the sound in BF1942 is completely gone, no music, no sounds and additionally bf freezes for at least 20 or 30 seconds, being extremely laggy afterwards. When i close mumble and restart BF everything is fine again, as long as i don't start mumble wink

I already tried to install older versions of mumble but no effect.
In some mumble forums i found out that my soundcard drivers (Soundblaster X-Fi Fatality platinum ed.) could be a problem with mumble if they are older version. So i updated them as well.

Finally nothing helped, so i give it a last try here or switch to teamspeak wink

Hope that some of you have some good suggestions.

Thanks

Is it still possible to display channel activity on this forum Homepage ?

#7 Re: BF1942 Discussion » Map rotation question » 2013-05-26 18:06:46

hi all,

i am not concerned about the rotation itself but i would suggest to change the duration of a map to 20 (or 15) minutes.

It would be then possible to have a map twice,  in order to play in the other team the same map.

If admins would then have a look at teamswappers (which is really annoying, because it let's always others swap automatically), this will work fine.

Think about it and discuss smile

Hi everyone,

what about having some teamspeak channels for teamplaying in battlefield?
I remember, when i played years ago in a clan we had this little teamspeak window on the homepage that showed who was currently online in which channel.
People could join an axis or allies channel and concert their actions on the battlefield.

I think this software is still for free...
