There is no punkbuster and no anti cheat measure.

Its not the number, its what they show.

Ok, another great decision I see...

I presumed banning Timmos was a mistake influenced by the ones accusing.

Both good and bad I guess, more players but overall skill level goes down.

I understand your concern, but perhaps we can get some minor changes made that will make less ppl disconnect just because a weird map or mod comes on. Its been 20 minutes and already 9-0 in votes smile

Sometimes the modded version of Battle of Britain is running. I dont like the modded version at all, and the worst part is the destroyers. They take out the radar towers in seconds without them having any chance of protecting themselves, and pretty much spoil the map for us who like the challenge of playing allies.

Absolutely! I agree with you Lord Seventy. smile

I dont know if its easy to do, but Id suggest rolling stats so you keep your old for a while. I suggested in the past that for instance the last 4 weeks should count, for instance every monday the oldest week is removed and then the new week starts to count. If its 4 or 12 weeks doesnt really matter, maybe more than 4 is better. This (current system) is however better than before as it makes the list more interesting for new joiners.

I will kick anyone I see doing taxi, including admins. You all know that with taxi enabled we will end up with tons of crashes into planes and useful vehicles going to waste. Yeah some of you know where the planes spawn, but noobs will follow your example. It is better for the server not to follow Tuia's instructions in this case.

smile Dont demand too much of the poor admins, half of them dont even know all the rules but are just trying to do their best. I agree on that the different interpretation of taxi is a problem, so I really hope we wont see admins kicking others for it but then doing it themselves. I personally try to follow the rules as well as possible, two nights ago on iwo I beached the PoW, naturally I gave myself a !kdis so someone less noobish could take it (I belive the next person managed to wiggle it loose tongue )

It is disruptive behaviour, and I will keep kicking for it, as I kicked you last night.

And that is a certainty smile

Well while I never played there, when it went down many TTB-retards came to simple. After countless bans from me and other admins I belive we have almost cured Simple from the disease that TTB-players are.

#21 Re: BF1942 Discussion » Pirates mod events|*ideas*|*dates* » 2013-08-25 21:12:27

This post actually made me a little bit sad, I grew up with IE after all and a 56k modem. Poor IE sad

IE still has its uses when it comes to some business applications however so I use it at work from time to time smile And dont get me started on some client machines, XP is still widely used lol.

#23 Re: Technical Help » Battlefield 1942 on my iMac » 2013-08-23 08:37:20

I would also go with the bootcamp, played bf1942 with that on my MB pro for a couple of years. But as any clever person I nowadays have a laptop faster than any mb on the market and now I dont need to reboot all the time tongue

#24 Re: Technical Help » Server Full » 2013-08-21 17:38:15

A lot of players go afk without disconnecting when they go away for dinner etc, and we do have the !kafk command but its a boring job to kick afk ppl so admins rarely do it. I would suggest creating a !bafk60min command and urge admins to use that, perhaps that would make idiots disconnect when they are touching themselves. Furthermore afk ppl makes the teams uneven.

The dutch language really is like you take german, switch 50% of the consonants to vowels and stir it with some french. Finally you add a sprinkle of swedish to that.

To seize power from religious oppression must be considered a victory, countless studies show that the more religious you are = the less intelligent. The sooner the medieval powers of religion can be broken the better for the people in the long run. And I belive being religious shows such a lack of understanding of the world, that your mind is at the same level as a child or mental patient, and hence you shouldn't be able to vote. Morsi was "voted" for leader by poor, uneducated, desperate people who turns to a hairy pedophile for answers instead of science. Religious leaders such as Morsi has always exploited that, and I dont believe Morsi or any other high ranked religious leader is religious themselves, they only use it as a tool to gain power.

Ayway this is a sad development, poor people clinging on to religion must ve educated but still in the mean time we cant let them have power.
