I hate these no skill, point-and-shoot camp over the corner with a scoped M4 shitty new gen FPS games. Uber trash
...
Sometimes i think, it's the same as in the ancient Rom, ... Bread & Games.
Specially those "Free Games" but we know it's not free. You have to sell your soul for it.
...
i wanted to give a try out Cod warzone, but that game requires the phone number of the user.
...
I promise you, i would never play a game if you have to sell your soul AND your underpants.
...
yeah i ended up not installing it, i mean if something goes wrong they can always do the same thing sending you an E-mail, so to ask for the people´s phone numbers is just totally nonsense from my point of view.
...
Did you ever check the Cookie settings.
Most people just accept globally and do not care that their datas are sold to ~300 companies who sell it to everybody who pays for it.
...
and thanks to the EU union now someone can read the messages we send in the E-mails and in apps like whatsapp etc....

It’s not not lol Z, it’s wrong aim mate. With planes you mostly need to shoot in front of them. Try it
it was fun.

He has a point. some people dont need to lead much and would kill that spit in an instance. look at darcanos videos for reference. 240 stable ping and I have to lead way more than he has. its just how this game works. its dumb honestly

The leading distance required to hit a plane, depends on the speed, distance, angle and ping.
You can't just place your crosshair directly on the plane with no leading distance, and hoping to destroy him with 20 ping. That ain't gonna happen unless you're very close to the target, or behind his tail at the same altitude. You can clearly see that on Zwarrior's video: he kept shooting from far directly on the plane, with no leading, and of course zero hits. Then a bit later, as they came closer, and lost a bit of speed, he was able to get hit registrations with almost no leading.
You also have to progressively change the leading as you fly. It's very easy to fk it up if you don't know what you're doing.

Non-isometric video settings give me nausea. How can you even fly like that anyway?

True. I didnt mean to be mean there, but I was just tired to go for more. Otherwise I would have said smth similar to what Sparrow said. It all wants a lot of practice and couldnt agree more that its really easy to fuck up if you you dont know how to. Practice more and it will get better Zwarrior.
Zody, it’s really impossible that you have to lead with 20 ping more than Darcano with 240 ping…
Darcano is really rare example of how to do it with such delay so he starts like second guessing where to lead + thats why he sometimes struggles to hit spinning planes at short distance, cause its really difficult to estimate where to lead.

Neither I wanted to be mean, but I really get a face-palm moment each time I see a veteran that says ''I have no regs with 18 ping'', ''i have to lead a kilometer with 18 ping'' and other nonsense like that. They always think something's wrong with their internet, but they never actually check to see how they're aiming.
Btw, I think the ''lol'' in the title was more for how he managed to get the kill, rather than the aim itself. (but could be wrong)
But nevertheless, some stuff had to be said.

Do I really have to make a comparison video for you to believe that Darcano has less lead than I have? Lead is different for everyone and ping is a bad indicator to make any assumption
Zody, as I've already stated in my first post about this matter, it's not just about the ping. There are a number of other factors that influence the leading distance.
How would a 270 ping pilot have less lead than you xd ?
There's like a whole second or two of delay before his bullets reach the target at close range.
The only way you'd have something like ''more lead than him'', is if somehow you'd always shoot at planes from a very awkward angle, speed and distance. But I doubt it. So yes, I would really like to see a video of your leading distance, because the bullet trajectory curve with 15-25 ping is not much, and what you claim sounds very unbelievable.
Just have a look at him how much he has to lead the target at slow speed:
With my ping, (55ms avg) I'd have to shoot at the tip of that arrow to hit the plane at that speed and altitude.

I dont. I have the lead on the picture maybe a little more. There is more to this than the attributes you described. How stable your connection is is the biggest one here. I also have to add that my main experience is from war servers which run on 20 hz instead of 30, which is a different type of game honestly.
Edit: I will provide a round of BoB soon. I mean im fine with being wrong. Always something to learn, but my experience with lead in a plane has been horrible.

i agree with you, but i think it is like that because some players have better performance, or that they have optimized their pc to this tittle, or this game might run better online in some systems than others.

non isometric? what does that mean?

The game is using a widescreen-resolution for rendering, probably 16:9 ratio, but the recording actually seems to have a 4:3 ratio.
If the settings were isometric then distances between 2 points would be preserved at rotation of the camera. But you can see how things get stretched in the corners and are squeezed together at the sides.
It's uncomfortable to look at. I can just hope this happened as a result of post-processing because if you actually play like that it will make flying very difficult.
Our brain isn't really meant to deal with a non-isometric environment.

are you sure it isnt the point of view setting? anything else than 1 will make the same effect i think.

The field of view can mess with the screen ratio depending on how the game is being processed by windows/video driver, especially when the game is set to full-screen it is possible that using a FoV setting that does not correspond to your actual screen ratio will result in the same sort of effect.
But if you pay attention to the horizon you should be able to clearly see how it's getting stretched and squeezed when moving in and out of corners.
When rotating 45° the horizon reaches form one corner of the screen to the opposite. This distance is obviously longer than side-to-side but yet the same amount of horizon seems to be displayed as at 0° or 90° rotation.
when it comes to planes they each have different angles on the guns (atleast on the fighters) meaning they shoot in the way of a x kinda and its different values for each plane so the golden distanse is were both of the guns bullets meet up and the kill is pretty much instant. zero is the nab plane for this (easiest).
also this means that you can center your aim perfect ona plane but if its to far away the bullets will go on each side of the enemy plane and you will miss all the shots.
That's true.

SBD is the most perfect shooter for long distances, and engines. D3 Val comes close, with just a mm below the SBD.

Yak seems a bit messed up:

As far as i've noticed, setting FoV higher than 1, will stretch the screen on the Y axis. It makes the plane appear longer, that's also why other planes disappear quicker with higher FoV. If you set the FoV lower than default, ( 1 ) it will just zoom in the picture.
I've had the same effect as him when I was messing with different aspect ratios.
Perhaps he recorded the video that way.

the quality of the videos that i upload to youtube is not the same as what i see on my monitor.
here is a screenshot of how i see it:
Why that resolution?
