its possible with orig files, it is many years ago now so its hard to remember how to do it but i will try to describe how, i researched it after i mistakenly had banned a guy for it (oups).
you stand at waterline and fire the zook then switch to pistol and move forward to the swimming begins, then back again and switch to zook and it can start the fire animation again, its very tricky to coordinate (at least it was for me) but it works. maybe there are other waus to do it. i run into a similar thing when i addtemplated a wrench to the zook kit. there was vids on youtube before but i cant find any now. i can do a quick vid if you like.
theres a zooka bug in bf42, if you interrupt the reload in a certain way it will play the animations and look like its firing but its just blanks.
it does release the game after certain time setting and then you can use favourites and such. its just that it takes forever so most people think the game has stopped. dunno where this timeout setting is tho, it may be hardcoded in the exe.
someone on the modforum made a script that let you connect to a server directly from a weblink, i can dig it up if you want it.
if you have a fast cpu but slow gpu try this line in VideoDefault.con " renderer.forceSwSkinning 1 " it uses software (cpu) instead of hardware (gpu) to write some of the details on screen.
another thing you can try is " renderer.extrapolateFrame 0 " http://forums.powervs.com/showthread.php?t=5558
(This command limits the framerate to 30fps but it eliminated stutter and makes Bf1942 much more playable.)
is it normal when i play the game takes 50% of cpu on task manager? the other 50% is system idle process
yes its normal, its the same here.
fps 1 in the console works too but is a bit small and hard to see
