PcGameWiki to adjust several settings, like FoV, disable DoF and Motion Blur, possible also RefreshRate, but i play with capped 60 and it runs great, etc.

Du kannst nicht einfach den Fakt übergehen, dass Russland einen Angriffskrieg begonnen hat, trotz Völkerrecht und eigenem Vertrag mit der Ukraine von 1991.
Die Begründung Russlands, dass die Ukraine, so wie auch Polen kein Anrecht auf Eigenständigkeit haben, sowie deren Willen, sich verlorene Gebiete wieder einzuverleiben, (die sie, wohlgemerkt, damals ja auch annektiert hatten), sollte die Europäer schon auch wachrütteln.
Man kann gegen die USA wettern, ... kein Problem. Aber wenn's dann um's Eingemachte geht, sind plötzlich alle froh, dass sie da sind.
Ich hoffe nicht, dass Du blauäugig glaubst, die Welt sei besser dran, wenn man den Versuch Russlands, (neben der bereits wider jeglichem Recht annektierten Krim), die 4 Gebiete einzuverleiben, mit einem Murmeln hingenommen hätte.
Es ist genau andersrum.
Hätte man im 2014 bereits klare Grenzen aufgezeigt, wäre das, was nun passiert ist, nie vorgefallen.

Du weisst schon, dass Du Dich wie ein Verschwörungstheoretiker anhörst.
Da, so wie Du sagst, diese Geschichte, wenn sie denn so ist, wie Du sagst, der Realität nahe kommen sollte, wäre es viel sinnvoller, Deine Augen auf die Gegenwart zu richten.
China nistet sich jetzt ja auch in Deutschland ein, was übrigens Business as usual ist.
Es wird immer wieder an der Tatsache vorbeigeredet, dass direkt nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg nur ein Land fremdes Territorium vereinnahmt hat.
Das wurde zwar mit den horrenden Verlusten derer im Krieg begründet, was aber völliger Mumpiz ist. Das war nämlich einzig und allein deren Dilettantismus zu verdanken.
Darüberhinaus schafften es die Russen ja problemlos nach dem Krieg die 2.5 fache Anzahl eigener Landsleute zu töten ohne in einen Krieg verwickelt zu sein.

There's also a newer Version, "Hard Reset Redux", but it's far not that good as the original.
In Redux Versin they replaced those funny, agile, aggressiv Roboters with some lame Zombies and it looks worse.
The Game runs smooth and great, looks very good, (open the Pics in a new Tab and klick to zoom), is configurable in FoV and HighRes & FPS.
The Game is from 2011/2012 and runs great on older machines.

Btw. It looks in Game better then on those Screenshots.
I myself have only the Original Game "Hard Reset". The Extended Edition has some DLC with new Story Maps i don't know.

You can take out any active target in the base.
Just not kill spawning players or those who did not shoot out of the base.
Moving, hopping or dancing targets you can find everywhere in the field.
For that you don't have to target the base.
