So, the purpose of the poll is to count how many players will use PunkBuster? Or if they prefer PunkBuster enabled on servers?
Yes indeed, but to have results more significant it would be interesting to make known this poll to the unregistered players on the forum.
Because I shall bet that those who answered "yes" are clan members so they are used to play on PB server.

Answer seriously to know if yes or no, we have to set PunkBuster on the servers ?
"PunkBuster is a computer program that is designed to detect software used for cheating in online games. It does this by scanning the memory contents of the local machine. A computer identified as using cheats may be banned from connecting to protected servers. The aim of the program is to isolate cheaters and prevent them from disrupting legitimate games."

I think that it's a good idea but we shall have to proceed by steps :
1 - Contact most owners of servers to know if it's possible and if they're agree to add Punkbuster.
2 - If they're agree, someone will have to update Punkbuster (no update by Evenbalance since February 3, 2010 if my information is good).
3 - If Punkbuster is updated, each servers will have to contact all these players (PM database, information in chat, ...) a few months before setting that.
Battlefield 1942 has survived to the stop of support of gamespy, thanks to some lovers for this game.
So it's not a simple anti-cheat system which is going to kill BF1942, on the contrary !

Normally a glitch is a perm ban according to rules (even if it's purpose or not purpose)
In my opinion this rule is too harsh here or on the others servers, personally it will be better 1 week or 1 month in first, and if the player restart, it's a perm ban.
It make long time that I want to say it sorry

I use win7 and if I use ctrl+alt+del, i'm back to my desktop in 800x600 but i can't open anything, so it crash my BF then.

On the others servers, there are no problem with -6.
Why here there would be ?
The players just have to play intelligently and not to blame admin ...
Maybe put in information chat, "be carefull, at -6 you'll get autokicked" or something else.

Go to option of all your program that yout want desactivate and disable "open at startup windows" then follow my instruction above

If you have a big processor, he will be able to run more informations in the same time and more quickly.
Now if you want desactivate some process, BE CAREFULL and check that it's not necessary at the smooth running of Windows and the programs which you want to keep active.
You can see which program use this process in description, if you don't need that, desactivate that.
I would recommend also to desactivate all the useless services windows (look on google)

On win7 64bits, i have 22 process active.
But it depends what you has installed on your computer and if it's active or not.
85 process active is really much and it's good for you if your PC isn't slow
I recommend you to desactivate all the same that you don't need.
