Shamefully updated the Battlefield 1942 GameSpy patch installer almost 2 years after Battlefield 1942 master server had moved from the defunct master.bf1942.sk to master.bf1942.org. Hey, it is better late than never.
So, what does this Battlefield 1942 GameSpy patch actually do? It is a simple installer with very few clicks, that will replace your BF1942.exe file with the latest BF1942 executable, which has some fixes added by henk and, most importantly, it will have master.bf1942.org added to it, which is the current Battlefield 1942 master server, to be able to retrieve the server list in-game, when you click the Update button. This installer will check if you have Battlefield 1942 installed, before proceeding, and backup your BF1942.exe before it replaces with the new one. Unlike the previous version of the installer, it will no longer set "Windows XP SP3 compatibility" in BF1942.exe, which was causing problems with Windows 10 and above.

Are there any future plans to update the forums / site and perhaps bring back the tournament and stats sections that used to be part of the site a while ago?
For sure, I will inform you when it is being worked on. For now, main focus is to set the servers as they were before the move.

Very interesting idea of having a qualifying stage. If it is doable somehow, it should be everyman for himself, no teams whatsoever and you just try to kill everything that moves.
Maybe as a quick set up, add all participating players to one team and have one player in the opposite team as a spectator, then all kills, which will be teamkills, would give plus 1, instead of minus score.

Then, you need to run Battlefield 1942 GameSpy patch to be able to update the server lists inside the game.

The Aberdeen Tanks a lot version with flag in the middle was lost, it has to be recreated again.

The menu.rfa does not work, according to RAR it says that it is corrupt or incomplete, you can tell because it only weighs 86 kilobits :c
There is still this older version of menu_001.rfa.

Resolving bf1942.team-simple.org or team-simple.fr, will always show the actual IP address of SiMPLE's Battlefield 1942 servers. It is not an HTTP server.

Does a content check = 2 (unpure) server block from joining with that HD remaster mod?
Anyway, it seems counterproductive to have any content check enabled.

Just click the Update button inside the game to see the new servers. If that does not work you have to update your BF1942.exe or change your hosts file.

Karl Donutz, you should not use the IP address, instead use team-simple.fr or bf1942.team-simple.org, they will always point to the new IP address, even though there should be no change of IP address in the foreseeable future.

Thank you all for your kind support. Regarding the previous server moves, we should not have left OVH, they have good DDoS protection, and in this age of angry and entitled kids, it is a must have for any gameserver.
Do not worry, content check will be disabled on all servers, we do not want you to miss out on those eye-candy textures.

SiMPLE is back to where it all started, the servers have moved back to lovely northern France. They are now hosted, again, with OVH, this time in a datacenter in Gravelines, and there should be a better connection overall. Unfortunately, this move was unexpected and forced, causing downtime for a few days, and worse of all, the impossibility to redirect players from the old server to the new server IP address. Therefore, it is important that every one of you wishing to join the new SiMPLE servers, updates the in-game server list and do not forget to remove the old server entries from favorites list, if you have them saved. You must have the latest BF1942 executable which points to master.bf1942.org to retrieve the servers list in-game or apply the Battlefield 1942 GameSpy patch, which will replace automatically with the latest BF1942 executable.
SiMPLE Battlefield 1942 servers, as always, can be connected from bf1942.team-simple.org or team-simple.fr addresses, preferably. The new server IP is 37.187.92.162, in case you really need it.

If you are talking about the elites you shouldn't say Jews, like they are all the same.
If you want to divided humans you should divide into asholes and non asholes.

Can you please be more clear? Are you suggesting that I've opened the topic, because I am worried "SIMPLE is dying quickly now"? I've opened it because today was a relevant day, a failed coup d'état was attempted in Russia. I agree it has some disgusting posts, because of uneducated persons like Insane and Alvarez-Latino, who seem to get satisfaction of harrasing and humiliating russians online.

I don't think that should be an issue, BF1942 CD version or torrent version is basically the same. Have you tested running Shadowplay software with adminstrator rights?

I think it is pointless to make a claim without bringing some sort of evidence. Luckily deeko has made several videos which back up the statements made above. In regard to any of tuias claims about removing the patches and fixes without evidence means nothing. I haven't seen any good arguments about the players moving over to moongamers either.
I'll add some observations:
1. check how many players join and then disconnect during the same round on simple, they simply won't stay
2. How often do you see anyone talking about regs on moongamers - it is consistentAlso what tuia lets on is that he makes jokes and fools around for laughs, some silly estonians take it too seriously, even when the server already empty most of the time. It was also said that he won't make the same mistake of letting us know about his server modding anymore. he didn't start this topic either, just slid in to smooth things out a bit after players started to realize something is wrong.
So, in conclusion: limit deekos weapon choices to zooka and sniper to fix all of the above
simon, just move on. Stop clinging to the past, because it's making you sound bitter. Anyway, I am still waiting for your next amusing theory.
