Portuguese government is another puppet in their hands. It is a shockingly surprising well "behaved" country. Portuguese don't riot, or barely protest against salary cuts, pension cuts, social rights taken away, all in name of our nation's economy balance. However, despite all these measures the public debt still rises and there is no economic growth. Portugal, in large, is doomed for poverty and misery, unfortunately, because we're ruled by anti-patriotic and corrupt politics. After they step away from government they get top ranks in European Central Bank, European Union or International Monetary Fund, because they served well their masters' purposes.
Same thing will happen to Ukraine, if nothing new happens, they will get their aid package from International Monetary Fund, then profitable state-owned companies are sold for a bargain, social rights are taken away, unemployment rises, public health care services deteriorate, et cetera.
