I don't think you've got the (in my mind) very important point at all. This game -as old as it is- is not about score, beeing the best... etc.It's about having some fun all together. And I don't think so just about this game...
There are tournaments out there (also on other games), go grab 'em!
Can't have fun when you get banned simply for being better than someone and killing them

last time i tried was in that god of war video i posted which was in a 1v1 with frieterie(i think it was him) where i had the 30/5 score at the end while going for pistol only kills for the longest time with 50 ping and every kill was perfect

For most people the gameplay in Bf1942 online is spongy like hell. Somehow you are allways a bit late in close fights, beside the bad regs. Even with low pings.

I have ~60 base ping in the SiMPLE server from the Netherlands and you want to say my hitreg would be good
I am on Wifi of a little town without fibre glass and everyone who has EVER played with me can tell you that my internet crashes atleast 5 times each map
But yea keep believing everyone gets every kill in 4/6 bullets if they had my ping, noob
