Be angry or not, that's something that everyone owns.
Don't use admin rights for revenge.

But as far as I know, MuSen is not that kind of admin. He must have had a reason.

Actually, I can understand both sides. Baseraping have a grey zone, I mean the take-off zone. Should we have some precision about this ? For example :
Take-off zone is A5 to A6. Could we consider that a plane (even already in air) that is in the areas A4-A5-A6-A7 is protected by the baserape rule ?

It's kinda disrupting to kill planes few seconds after they put-in the wheels...

Help is welcome. Of course. But about the map "Training Day", not about other maps (even if I agree trying your propositions)
I try to spread MY map, and if we speak about other maps, readers may get lost in the discussion and it won't have any effect, for you as for me.

People interested by trying "Training day", come sometimes look at this topic so that I'll try to find a day when I'll be sure to have it running, so that we can meet & play it.

tuia, did you manage to put my map in New Maps Server ? And/or in the New Maps Installer ?

tuia, yes it could be great, but people who want to play it are not all players from league. And 3 vs 3 is few. We need at least 6/6. 8/8 would be perfect.

Keep Berlin CTF. I think it's pretty nice to change objectives of maps, in order to play other faces of the game, new strategies...
Denny, 10 ppl disconnecting at Berlin CTF doesn't mean that they won't play on SiMPLE any longer hmm

Besides, other people would connect just for it...

Fools XD ! Somebody who looked at the map know there's no way for a plane. 1st, 2nd or what you want, there's NO WAY XD.
No way to take off, to my mind (and my mind created the map, so... tongue) I mean, modding without removing the desertion area. It's a very small map.

But if you just add a B17 and succeed, then upload the video here, and congratulation !

The idea of the tank is just a support. Play it 8/8 and you'll see the tank is very vulnerable, can be reach from almost everywhere.
I didn't want to make a pure-inf map.
The idea is from Saint-Just (CBS) and I tried to do something.

That's why I say it's a mostly-inf, no pure inf. Middle flag can't be taken by tank.
And as Timmos said, you can mod it if you want, but I think it's better with the tank and the paks...

Wiener Schnitzel, to run the map, put it in c:...BF 1942Modsf1942Archivesf1942levels
Then, try in
Multiplayer => Create server

Set "conquest", and you should see the map in the bottom of the list (alphabetical order)

I don't know a lot of people in clans who like inf maps. If you know some, share with them. And the few guys I shared the file with, I'm not sure they even tried it. I can understand that trying this map alone isn't kinda funny, but...

Playing under 7/7 gives the tank a too big influence...

It's a little map, symetric. One tank and two Pak 40 per side. Tactical, mostly infantry map, nice positions, I think good for 8/8 at least. CTF, Conquest, TDM, but CTF should be hard.

Hi folks.

This topic is for experimented users on Battlecraft. I still create maps and I would like to get some advices. At the moment, I have a big problem : I can't find the Pak 40 in the list of objects spawn.
I know it's a weapon from RtR but I think it was added to classic with the 1.61 version because we can find it on Liberation of Caen.

So if map-creators know how I can import it, please help !

I experienced it today : Many 17 or 18 seconds spawn. There must be a minimal spawn time of 3 seconds.

Maybe there is a minimal spawn time, like 2 or 3 seconds : I don't remember I ever spawned under 3 seconds. So if there's only 2 seconds to wait, it's under the minimum so you'll wait the 2 seconds + 15 seconds of normal spawn time...

Someone already spawned under 3 seconds ?

By the way, I had an idea recently : The more tks you do, the longer you'll wait.
1 tk = 15 sec more to wait.

What if we subtracted the flag(s) taken, I mean :
I tk 2 guys (accidentally, a nasty nade). So I'll have to wait 30 seconds if I die. But before dying, I take a flag. Then it removes 1 tk, and I'll have to wait as if I had tked only 1 person. If I take 2 flags, it removes the two tks...

After all, accidents always happen... And should we really punish someone who tked unintentionnally ? If the guy takes a flag, he's not a real teamkiller...
The logic of spawntime would be based on the points during a "life" : 1 tk = -3 points. 1 Flag Taken = +3 points...
