Name is furious, because a 250 ping pilot owns him with ease. lol

@ 17:13 is exactly how he killed me (twice) on kharkov that day. After which he ofcourse denied it on the forum.

But what he said shortly after 9:55, is so disgraceful, that i'm not sure even someone like 000 could say that.

Totaly didn't expect him to go that much down.

Indeed, a new low.

It's beyond me how an admin with so many abuse cases is still in power.

Some people were removed from the position for doing their job too well. Meanwhile, here we have nameless, the 30+ yo who's physically and mentally uncapable of controlling his behavior.

He should've been replaced with someone who's actually capable of head-adminning, long time ago.

Tragedy.

Used to watch these a lot when I was little.

Neretva and partizanska eskadrila  (think that's how it was called ?) were my  favorite.

I still remember that scene with the stolen plane. big_smile

I've got the new PC parts on new years, and one of them was a 144hz monitor.

It has a VA display panel, so the speed isn't the greatest. But I wanted it for the superior contrast.

Anyways, the very first thing i've noticed, is how clear the picture managed to stay with rapid-movement.

When I fly planes, the ground almost looks ''static'' because of how stable the image is. I was so much used to the stuttering at high-speed with a standard 60 hz monitor that it felt strange.

Now switching back to 60 from 144 is unbearable lol.

@Zwarrior

(This is a pic from 000.) If you had mismatched lines like these:

Screenshot-1.png

It's screen-tearing.  (although, this is an extreme example.)

This happens when the FPS are not synchronized to your monitor's refresh-rate.

This also happens all the time, in any game.

However, the higher your refresh-rate is, the less noticable they become. But they will always be there, unless you enable a frame synchronizer like Vsync (worst kind)  nVidia g-sync, AMD free-sync, etc.

But on the other side,  enabling any frame synchronizer, will result in extra input-lag.

Enabling max FPS will allow you to have the least amount of input-lag.

If you have a 60 hz monitor, cap the fps around 200-350 and see if it continues.

I think it was something like

renderer.setVsyncEnabled 1 0

But it's not worth it in multi-player games.  The input-lag is huge.

I had that PXN once,  it was stiff like a wood.  You can't aim precisely with that, especially at infantry. 1 little move with that stick, and your plane over-turnes. I wouldn't reccomend it at all.

I think the one Vertigo had suggested, is probably the easiest joystick to get used to.  Altho,  many people complain about the reliability being low.  Mine lasted around a year,  but some have lasted over 5 years for other people.  The plus about this practicular stick is that it has a software for adjusting the sensitivity, and is easy to fly with.  Many pilots that I know,  including DraGo use/have used this stick in BF42.

But if you wan't something more on the reliable side, and surgical-precision, you should get a joystick with hall-sensors.

One example of that would be  the Airbus A320 TCA Side Stick by Thrustmaster.

Can't recall, but I think this one had hall-sensors even on the rudder, which is not very common. It should last you for ages.

However,  it's a bit more expensive than the 3d pro and it's a bit harder to get used to. The handle is also larger, which makes it more suitable for flight-simulators.

Joysticks with large handles are not practicularly the best for fast-action arcade games like BF42,  because with larger handles  your acceleration will be slower.

Here's a good tip for you, and for every joystick user:

If  you own a joystick with potentiometers, (such as the 3d pro)  make sure it's not plugged in the PC when not in use. The reason being the constant flow of electricity, will degrade the potentiometers much quicker.

But if you own a joystick with hall-sensors, you wouldn't have  have to worry about this, because electricity will not flow unless you move the stick.

It doesn't matter if the messages are malicious or not, or the language used.

Chat-spamming is sending messages in a relatively short interval for a prolonged period of time.

I think when most people talk  about spamming, they mean flooding, which is an extreme case.

I said I was scanning for enemy planes with fly-by camera, then saw your plane shooting at me from so far.  You could generally see enemy planes with fly-by before they see you.  If you leave the camera in the middle of the map, you could see+hear enemy planes from there while your plane is at the end of the map.  Thats exactly what I did.

One of the first days I played against this cranberrie guy,  I've dominated him on gazala with the 109.

Then after 8 mins, just when I was ''deep-scanning'' for enemy planes with fly-by camera, I saw his plane shooting at me from so far behind.

I was also nearly at the corner of the map.

Then 1 day I saw he had a profile on the forum. I've decided to check who he is, etc.  It was all clear then how he managed to see me.

If I had the recorder turned on, it would've been over for him.

I think this guy cheats mostly against much better players than him.

This situation reminds me a bit of Icebags, when he confessed to using map-hack against me on simple US, cause he couldn't stand the loss. lol

FoV may lead to some graphical issues, but if you set it over 1.4, I think.

I've once set the FoV to something around 1.5 for a test, and the right-click zoom-in animation  was reversed.

Sometimes it would even reverse the whole map.

I keep mine at 1.1 , 1.0 (default) gives me a headache lol.

It's also worth noting that the higher the FoV, the quicker the objects will disappear from the camera. This is especially bad for dogfighting because when you switch the cameras, the enemy plane will disappear too quickly.

Values between 1.1 and 1.25 are generally ok.

That's what im talking about.........................

I make KILLS, therefore, I do not waste planes, unlike 000 which flies mostly in vertical lines back and forth and waiting for hyper-easy target & angle.

Here's a bit shortened version of how this jerk of an admin wants everyone else to behave with planes:

If he's fighting someone in  lets say above allied main, and you are in your own main-base, he expects you to come and help/kill the opponent within just 2 seconds big_smile If you don't do that,  he'll start cussing you like a madman.  You admins can also check the logs on the previous maps such as:  battleaxe and market that day.  He was like a triggered woman on period. (I actually did have a good laugh at that.) big_smile

In my case, I decided to not help a jerk like him.

Someone who's always making cheap kills, then falsely accusing others of doing it, does not deserve even a bit of any help from the team.

Out of the hundrets of actual useless and noob pilots,  he decided to give me a personal pay-back because of how bad I made him look on gazala some weeks before this incident.

Let's see the following weeks how will he behave.

I guess it would be the same, given his attitude, but atleast some people are seeing his true face now. smile

It's actually very ironic if you think about it.

My score is 95% higher than nameless's. Thats without ever playing seriously in public. I also take out key targets.  So actually, he's sabotaging whole team with the !kill command against me, big time. smile

Out of the 100's and 100's of players on the server, he's the only one that  has a personal problem with me.

I think he invented this whole ''wasting'' excuse because i'm able to take out enemy mustangs with relative ease on my own. Meanwhile, he struggles with noobs and cries for help...

He also deliberately tries to discredit me with ''death-bailing'' and crashing plane.  Like that can never happen accidentaly.

If I have the balls to fight Viitapiru + Jazzy both in mustangs and without someone helping me, and then die like a man, I surely won't just death-bail on purpose or crash the plane when it's low on health. I've also never death-bailed even when the very few times 000 have managed to successfully back-stab me.

Vertigo, Hydra,  and hillbilly (actually not 100% certain if it was hillbilly) were online on that map.

I'd like to hear their thoughts about me ''wasting planes'', AND if it's okay someone to get !killed for focusing on OTHER targets.

Hello.

Decided to play a few rounds to relax after work, and this jerk started to abuse his admin-rights for ''not helping him''

Seriously, can any reasonable admin explain to nameless that: PUBLIC server is not a clan server????

He used the !kill command twice on me claiming that I ''flew'' away while he was fighting other planes, while I just minded my own business, and bombed other targets, instead.

I litereally, and completely ignore him for months, yet he keeps calling me ''sucker'' and things like that. I really didn't care about that, but to !kill me just because I focused on other targets??

I'm almost sure this post will be ignored... but w/e.

I've  noticed   the game is buttery smooth the first 10 mins whenever I join. The regs are almost as if I had 30 ping or something.  Then after that, it's like you hit a brick wall. The regs progressively get worse. Also, there's no stuttering at the beginning.

There's a simple solution to this problem:  Just issue a perm ban to this troll, and be done with him.

The server itself will thank you many times over...

Very interesting, and and ultra-rare pilot kill.

These ''pilot kills'' are quite common in a mod like fhsw. I've only seen 1 pilot kill in vanilla by myself, when viitapiru managed to get me from the inside with a corsair,  but i've never thought a ship would be able to do the same.
