what should be altered is things like name visibility like only functional inside of 5 feet, that would help immersion experience
Well, that is an interesting idea. Nametag visibility has been always set to the maximum at 600 meters. Now, it has been lowered to only show up at 30 meters maximum and nametag will show up to 300 meters if you are aiming at the player. These settings are experimental, they can be changed.

I agree with Abas on the AA's and jeeps. We need more AA's and jeeps.
Buuuut... the lack of subs on midway is extremely sad
More AAs and jeeps in which maps?
The submarines will be back in Midway map, don't worry.

1. BF1942 - the regs are not stable for me. to be honest it is better for me even on moongamers. can it be is testing on/off ?! ... i have the impression that it is just very different.
I don't have that on the RTR server , is clearly better.
This is surprising, it should be the same experience.
- I personally don't like the rotating para point in BX. As someone has already said, it just makes the whole thing chaotic. In my opinion it would be good that the rotating spawn only appears when the opponent has taken all flags, that would be really good and disappears again when a flag is taken. that would be good for the balance.
The rotating parachute spawn in Battleaxe will show up when some flag is taken, don't know what flag should be now.
- at Bulge it would be nice to have a jeep spawning at south bridge, little thing but big effectiv.
Sorry, where would that exactly be?
2. RTR+SW - delay at start is 60 seconds that is clearly too much. I have seen players disconnect during this time. 30 or 20 seconds is really enough.
Reduced to 30 seconds in all servers.
- Unfortunately, the bots spawn 2-3 seconds before and occupy most or all vehicles during this time - Gothic line, Hellendorn, Essen... would be great the bots spawn 2 sec later - question ?!
Not sure if it is possible, or there is an easy fix, to delay the spawn of the bots.
- on Kbely airfield are now 2 planes for the axis side, which makes it unbalanced.
Most of the RtR+SW maps haven't been taken care of, sorry for that. Noted, thanks.

Lucky you, I have that update saved from 2013 in another harddrive. It is an executable file, though, if you want I can extract the contents of the patch and zip it, or just use a sandboxed environment to run that executable, in doubt. Download MC SP blood fx patch from here: https://team-simple.org/download/MCSP_Bupdate.exe
I tried out MC SP in Battleaxe map and the blood splatter effect looks good. The weapons sounds are also interesting.

Was the B17 ever used by the british army in World War 2? It can be placed B17s near the hangars, but the theme of the event is to run classic maps as close to the original versions and be historically acurate.

All games, by default, should be installed in C:\Games. Installing games to the Program Files folder dates back to Windows XP or even before, when there was no User Account Control (UAC) request. Also, games should have a separate folder from ordinary programs. This way of installing everything to Program Files, it is just a mess.

No, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, people seem to be too sensitive and emotional on these topics. But, It was never my intention to antagonize anyone, just to openly discuss what I believe is a censored truth. Anyway, this is a gaming forum, even though it is related to WW2 history and all its events.

Irregardless of anyone's opinion about 000's personality or his game play, the fact stands that he took the time and effort to produce these enjoyable BF1942 videos and most of the previous posts were discouraging him. Some of you take it way too seriously, this is just a game.

Because Caen got voted just after Guadalcanal was about to finish. Then, to fix the jump in the map list Battleaxe was set as the next map after Caen.

Coral Sea and Battle of Britain are in the map list and you have played them recently, they are not getting skipped. If that happens is because a map vote was successful and some maps might get jumped.
What is wrong with Kursk, Kharkov and Battleaxe maps? They are not that bad.
This event was for one day only, at evening time in Europe.
