I think adding APC as spawn point was good idea, only problem was ppl drove it on hill and thus being quickly destroyed by defgun-panzer.

G, you said jews own 50% world wealth, but in fact elite part of jews hold that (i mean elite in a bad way), like USA its the same - only few are really really rich and they do not care about people, only profit and getting more ritcher. look at big protests in Tel Aviv this year only, majority of people of Israel want normal life, sick of constant war/terrorist threat. You will not find that news in most of western media, because media is also owned by same rich ppl. in my opinion, most of killings today are only cause of profits (call it geostrategical points, resource and energy points etc.), if you clean picture of all noise (religious aspects (jihaad), race, nationality etc) it all comes to this - profits and un-equal distribution of world wealth. like i saw in one brasilian movie (BOPE I and II), one day this will be fixed, but in the meantime lots of innocent ppl will be killed and get hurt.

As i heared it, there were large demonstrations in Tel Aviv last year against current goverment, i think most israelis are against war, but israeli governmant is getting prepared for war every day more and more, this latest atacks only confirms that. Just a question to HoOk, how is life in Israel? i mean can you get job, be payed good enough to cover bills and to go once or maybe twice to trip or somewhere on holiday?

#102 Re: Technical Help » Widescreen patch » 2012-11-09 11:29:01

I did it!!! patch from nameless is good (replace exe and edit video.con file) smile one more thing had to be done - since i run bf on laptop, but use external monitor (big one smile ) in windows "screen resolution" there are 4 options, of wihich first one (share dispalys) is default setup and that one is bad. I had to chose "set display nr.2 only" and then desktop is shown only on monitor (not on laptop display), which in effect has when running BF it is widescreen with new resolution (my case 1920*1080).
Thanks again nameless for help and patience.

#103 Re: Technical Help » Widescreen patch » 2012-11-07 11:12:32

I replaced exe file, it is set to read only and changed video.con to 1920*1080, do you think problem could be because laptop resolution is 1600*900 and monitor is 1920*1080? i connect those two with DVI cable. will check again. foooook, i will pay you airline ticket and bring u to configure this wink

#113 Re: Technical Help » TeamSpeak and BF » 2012-11-01 17:38:11

i tried and changed card settings, but no result, as soon as i turn team spek on  whatever was on comp (youtube for example, or bf) goes automaticly on comp sound and TS stays on headphones. just a question, when u use ts and play bf, u have both on headphones?

Hm.. I'm more familiar with racing and click-n-react games where milliseconds matter where this comes into play. Don't know too much about fps games, but biggest noticable difference is ofcourse the difference between Vsync ON (limiting your fps to a low number) and Vsync OFF (allowing higher numbers for smoother refreshing)

As for DVI output, I'm guessing you mean a computer monitor? I for example have a 40inch LCD TV, I have a DVI hooked up to it from my graphic card mirroring my PC screen, but mostly for youtube and movies. But when playing games I can tell/feel a 30-50ping lag between my regular monitor and the LCD one. I even have them both next to eachother and can tell when moving around. It's hard as nails to "see it", but you can certainly feel it (like lag). Whether vsync has anything to do with this I don't know. Maybe it does (since the TV is limited to 50/60hz whatever while my computer CRT is not).

But there's also the technical difference if you have a CRT (cathrode ray tube) monitor or a LED/Plasma/LCD when you fiddle around with the vsync. Personally I still favor my big ass heavy CRT since those give off the best picture any day.

As for everything just slap that google and enter whatever keywords you may have regarding your problem, and I'm sure there will be detailed explanation from somebody who has more free time than me on these matters. It's a fucking compatibility jungle, like anything with computers/technology nowadays.

Thanks balls, will try

thanks for help

Yes, sure. You will get an appearance like in 4:3 or 5:4 screen but full widescreen and without any stretching or black lines on the sides of the screen. This patch affects everything except crosshair, map and bars. Don't forget to check readme.txt file.
P. S. I have got 27" widescreen monitor for Battlefield 1942, work and movies.

now i am jealous wink
