Last year I worked on a farm and there was an odd grandpa among the inhabitants. He had a passion for stories of conspiracy, Illuminati and alternative sciences (gamma rays, intertemporal flux...). A nice dude but it was his only topic of conversation.

One morning, after a severe stormy night the fence of the pig paddock was damaged. The family and the whole team was picking up repair supplies from the city so I found myself alone with the grandpa. He and I came to an arrangement so that he was keeping an eye on the paddock while I was doing my job on the other side of the farm. But when I came back the pigs were gone...

I then went into the old man's house to find out why he hadn't warned me. He was lying on the ground behind a sofa holding a metal box in his arms. He whispered : « Pigs leaving is a red herring. They want me out of here in order to recover the compromising data I got »

As night falls, we finally caught the fugitives by attracting them with light. The gentle loony was still hiding behind his sofa.

There is no consistency in the EU's foreign policy. The member countries can never agree on. Either for the war in Iraq (England/Italy agree, France/Germany disagree) or Lybia (France/England agree, Germany disagree) or Syria (France agree, England disagree). They aren't even able to reach an agreement on herring's fishing quota. So, form a ghost commando of snipers... Pull the other one !

By the way they aren't agree on the Ukrainian case yet. The concern has been expressed that sanctions would push Ukraine to close itself off from EU. Like Belarus. That's why they make a decision that actually isn't really one : freeze the European assets of a few Ukrainian heads.
