Warum ist Last Resort eigentlich so ein Lulli ? Ich mein, ich hab schon viele Spacken gesehen, aber der feine Herr LR ist gar ein Riesentuppes. Seine Hanswurstigkeit ist unerreichbar, sein tölpelhaftes Rumgeeier auf diversen BF-Servern ist legendär und unerreicht. Ich beobachte tagtäglich seine mitleiderregendes Rumgestümper. Wie kam es dazu ?
Um Antwort wird gebeten...
Für jedes Problem gibt es eine Lösung, die einfach, klar und falsch ist. Deine ist falsch.

I'm just trying to make the map realistic.
This game does not pretend to be realistic. It's more about an arcade-tactical shooter than realistic game. Adding planes on this map will be ruin the gameplay on this map.

I also have the widescreen patch. If you or anyone else want to create a webpage which can help new players, I'll host it here. It just needs to be a simple webpage with some few pictures and text. I once gathered all tutorials links for BF1942 and decided to make a new updated one, but as usual, I didn't start it. I just hate it when I have ideas and then not the time or the will to conclude them. :
I'm at work now and I also have no time. I just would wait for the weekend to begin to get some time but I don't know how to contact you. This forum engine has no personal messages feature.

You are correct, nameless. It's a good idea to create a page for downloads, instructions and tips for new BF1942 players. I didn't have time to do it, yet.
Just ask users to provide the content. For example, I can share widescreen patch for Battlefield 1942. Everybody knows that this game doesn't support 1920x1080 by default and in low resolution without any patch it looks weird on my 27" widescreen display. Be sure, the others can upload a game client, punkbuster, maps etc.

I know nothing about MAXNET but NBN, in addition to an incorrectly configured server firewall, is banning a few IP ranges of some ISPs. The administration has a practice to ban the whole provider to prevent one cheater. For example, I still using another provider's IP to connect to NBN. Sounds weird but as is.

And one more thing before I understand everything I should be. Today I flew over the enemy main base and I dropped the bomb on M10 tank, which used to be as an artillery vehicle. Afterwards, I got a warning by admin - !wbase or something like that. How would my team disable this M10 without any violation? Just explain.

There was a kind of bad experience using mines on this map because well mine-strewn slopes doesn't allow enemy vehicles to come up on the hill. It provides some advantage for Axis.

Generally, everybody who can kill enemies is 'mortal'. It means u can kill firing artillery, tanks, aa's, even snipers camping in buildings on Battleaxe. But the rest is untouchable, so don't try to destroy AA with wespe or something (but innocent victims happen
).
Hence, I will bomb it all then if it's not empty.

Hi Nameless, you can destroy aa and artillery ofc. If that wasn´t possible how else would someone destroy them while being shot at from mainbases? But that´s the exception i guess.
This should be added to the rules instead of "is not allowed in any way" phrase I guess.

Following the rules, attacking the enemy uncapturable main base (including basebombing) is not allowed in any way but how could I destroy enemy flaks and enemy artillery vehicles then? There are a lot of cases when the enemy artillery vehicle can be found on the main base. Practically, it gives some advantage for opposite team cause it can't be legally destroyed by the rules. Can I drop the bomb on it? Also, I'm interested in the same situation with enemy flakers.
