Solution: Get dual boot up and running instead of that upgrade (need to acquire a win 10 installer for that tho). Then test bf1942 on win 10 without any problems if you encounter problems..

It is possible to remove one operating system from the dual boot config later on..

Windows 10 and windows 7 (also older versions) work well alongside. It is very simple.

You only have to be careful with activation. If you install Windows 7 activate it and then windows 10 (activate it), then you will need to reactivate win7 again.

About directx - BF1942 doesnt use Directx 10,11,12 etc, it uses an older version of directx and that is 9.0c. Thats why a directx update us important.

If you want to update all components and versions of directx, well personally i use this:

(download, create a folder on desktop, use the self installer to extract everything there and run setup.exe)

also directxwebsetup is also fine..

you cant uninstall directx because it is part of windows. (well probably you can but not recommended to mess around with it)

no idea about xbox or anything related to that lol.

I dont recommend upgrading either, without having a Windows 7 / 8 dvd or iso, better to make the system have dual boot, and having a clean installation of windows 10

Yes, recruiting to a clan on community forum (even that), self-advertising, advertising mods, advertising other communities were strictly forbidden before in many communities. (also in-game)

Think the rules should be properly written in details and update it time to time. it seems even in 2015 (SiMPLE was formed in 2012 if i am right) there are some basic questions that seem to pop up. These should be clear and written at the rules with the proper extent..perhaps. dont want to mind in, but these can cause troubles.

They are allowed to post and "advertise", it is not against the rules. Or feel free to propose a rule change here that "advertising" (bf1942 mods are open source btw) is not allowed here.

i also belong to this community, and i know what they are doing. The knowledge and effort they put into this game cannot be measured. It is another side of the bf1942 scene, just consider it like Forgotten hope, DC or anything like that.
You would be happy to know what they know.

You cannot unban him simply because all other caught cheaters will start to apologize here as well etc. and you will have nice chaos here.

What i would say:

What you can do exclusively for moon: Make moon's ban as a timed ban > if some people want to give him a 2nd chance, and some want to make him banned, here is the balance:

Make a timed ban of 1-2 years or whatever time you want. It is long enough.

If he still has the same approach. (behaviour) change it to permanent.

I would consider that since moon's job @ catching other cheaters.

Although i wouldnt want to mess up server rules here, just an opinion.

Its actually not your cheating which brought you in into this situation. It is not the cause.

It is your behaviour.

Its a prime example of a community excluding someone, the one, the community doesnt want to belong to itself anymore.

Cause of being egoist etc, it was enough for everyone, and they couldnt stand it anymore.

And moon, I am almost sure this would have happened in an other way already, if the community had the rights and the immediately chance to do that. They would have banned you immediately cause of your behaviour.

(I dk why SiMPLE doesnt punish flamers and spammers, its one of the biggest mistakes you guys can ever do imho)

So although Its not common, but they would do it.

In a group if someone insults (be an egoist etc), the other members of the group will find ways to exclude him. Its again a normal RL thing..

They would have excluded you in an other way, and you can see the majority is against you.

This is what he should understand and change on himself..and i guess he might get the chance at least on simple.

He should learn to get used to ppl..
