#32 Re: Off-Topic » [Poll] Your politicals beliefs ! » 2019-08-31 19:35:48

It is an interesting topic, so Im from Brazil and now I live in Lisbon, I think that you guys saw recently the news about the amazonia’s fire... but sincerely the things that happened was completely different than these news.
So, first of all, no amazonia isn’t burning, is very comum (unfortunately) this kind of fire during the dry seasons, and this happens just in a small part of amazonia, in the Roraima state, it always happened and the world never care about, but... this year was VERY different, and some events have helped to transform a problem in really world problem...
Lets see:
During 13 years Brazil was rule by leftists and now the government is right conservative.
The main Brazilian press continues to be leftists (and they are financed by them).
The president Bolsonaro stopped with the operation of more than 100000 ongs in amazonia ( yes 100 thousands a lot of well intentioned people, I don’t think so).
It was assigned the commercial agrey between EU - Mercosul.

Is easy to see, the president Macron tried to use that to cancel this agreement, the brazilian leftists use that to try to take the power again, and the ongs (more than 100 thousand !!) use that to offer help IF the government step back in their decision...

So, policy is really a crap... Never thrust in the news, if you want to know more about anything, make your own research.

Sorry for English mistakes wink

“I am too old and/or lazy for this“

Lets just be happy and make a lot of kills on bf42 smile
I lived in São Paulo, Brazil, a place really dangerous every day it was “normal” watch the news with a lot of crimes and deaths ( worse than the Siria’s war... indeed).
Nowadays, here in Portugal I can live in peace...
The topic title is very spooky, a real war? No my friend, I hope that the world never comes to repeat again this horror.
When I see the news about to create a huge European Army, Im feel sad... what crazy world.

I think that is a good idea, a map just for simple soldiers, without medicians, engineers, zookers, and snipers (sad..)  can be funny smile

3 points for taking an undefended flag as opposed to 1 point for making a kill. Can this arrangement be altered so it's less of a racing game.

I agree with you!
Maybe just 2 points for taking a flag could be fair.

Really cool about the rocker stuff!

My dad is in a band and is really good. They make their own songs, but mainly just cover stuff but it still pretty cool. I wish I was talented enough to sing or adequately play an instrument lol.

Playing an instrument is cool, I sincerly recomend smile and playing in a band is amazing!!

I really like to know more about this period, I never heard anything about German - Switzerland

You mean the role of Switzerland during the world war ? You can add Sweden in neutral countries.
And in an other way Spain too, but Spain was near Germany during the war, Portugal was a great place for spyer from both sides too, many french soldier/spyer/politics escape Europe to USA or England to prepare the resistance

Yeah, nowadays I live in Portugal near to Estoril Cassino, there are a lot of stories about spies and refugees of WWII.

Simo Häyhä (1905-2002)
The White Dead
43-DFB07-E-1998-4322-8-CBB-CD6-FC20-C1022.jpg
During the Winter War of 1939 to 1940, when the Red Army invaded Finland, Häyhä fought in Kollaa and Ulismaa, where he became Finland’s most famous WWII sniper. Nicknamed “The White Death” due to his infallible sharpshooter skills, Häyhä is credited with at least 500 kills, and by some counts, as many as 542. He was wounded near the end of the war when he was shot in the face by an exploding bullet, he was hospitalized in a coma for a week and awoke on 13 March 1940, the same day peace was declared.
And he never used a scope...
