Im not saying Ronaldo is better than Messi, they´re both different and the best at their own style. But Ronaldo has already proved himself that he can play in different teams with different players, different styles of playing, tactics, etc. Messi didn´t. He plays at Barça since ever so you cant say he would be good at any team or as good as he is currently at Barça. I can bet that Ronaldo would do much better playing in the Bundesliga or the Calcio than Messi. He already proved it in the Premier League and his more objective style of playing and physical style would prove that too. Messi when he plays against italian and german teams does shit.

And Ronaldo and Messi are on a league of their own. No one compares to them now. Not only goal scoring or assists but how consistent they are thru the years and that´s what makes a world class player.

And please don't even compare Messi to Maradona. Maradona with a lesser team, Napoli, in the years that the Calcio dominated european football with a great Milan (Van Basten, Gullit, Rykaard, Baresi, Maldini, etc), a great Juve (Platini, Boniek, Vialli, Ravanelli, Peruzzi), a great inter (Matthaus, Brehme, Klinsmann), a great Roma, a great Sampdoria, a great Lazio, a great Parma, with all the great defensive players and other class players in every team were still defeated by Maradona and his Napoli of Careca and Alemão.

if Ronaldo is a overrated player all other players are extremely overrated. Messi is overrated too then. Outside Barcelona, and without Xavi and Iniesta at their best, he´s just good then.
