There are some other BF1942 servers breaking the records today. I've seen PrinceUmeboshi.jpn FHSW042 server having 80 players constantly, and there is also another server in Japan trying to reach 128 players.

Yes, it's possible, but I don't like the idea 1 shot-kill. I know some of those servers, you can only select sniper kit.

BFSM wasn't running so the commands didn't work. When the server crashed it didn't restart, because BFSM was down.
Battleaxe will be removed from map rotation. I've changed Stalingrad CQ to no grenades and no tanks and in Berlin CQ the germans start with only their main base, so the russians have some space at the beginning. Please, try the new Stalingrad CQ and Berlin CQ.

Hmm... if grenades were disabled in Omaha Beach, tanks and APC would be a lot harder to destroy. Currently on Omaha Beach, to lower grenade and exppack spamming you can't reload grenades neither exppacks from the ammo boxes. Omaha Beach is a difficult map for Allies if they can't cap the Wall flag. If you have other suggestions for Omaha Beach, please do so, but explain how would you deal without grenades and exppacks against the tanks, unless you removed all tanks from the map.

84 players slots running today and tomorrow. Some maps were changed to account for more players and I will try to finish some maps yet, like Wake and Iwo Jima.

That is the problem, it's not easy to find a legal BF1942 copy nowadays. I know EA Games have a store called Origin, where you can pay and download fast and safely any recent game published by them. They should have Battlefield 1942 at a low price there, or even better, for free.

Yes, that would be great if Battlefield 1942 was free. Some popular first person shooter games like Team Fortress 2, Arma 2 and Quake Live are free.

Yes, you can change some settings in-game in Options > Video, but you can't change the mipmap bias default value, you have to edit VideoDefault.con file.

While playing BF1942, Alt+Tab out of the game and open your VideoDefault.con file in C:Program FilesEA GamesBattlefield 1942Modsf1942Settings. Append this line renderer.mipmapbias 14 and save it. Now Alt+Tab into the game and press Esc, to go to the menu, press Esc again to go back into the game and you'll see the results.

Have you already updated your graphic card drivers, dary?
Denny, I know a tweak to make BF1942 graphics look ugly and more blocky, not as bad as dary screenshot's, though.
