Hi,
I just was banned from server: "Battle of Britain" (Simple BF 1942); (19h 29 Eastern Time).
I suppose that it's mistake. Please check.

ban for teamstack... ok but personal messages are reason for in game punish ? Thats ridiculous . Ban him from forum or reduce pm system if so .

1. You updated the server list inside the game?
2. If it's not working, download this one > http://team-simple.org/download/bf1942- … atched.zip (unpack, copy it and overwrite existing files in your Bf-Folder).
3. Delete the the file "ServerListFavorites.dat" in Folder ...\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings\Profiles\Custom\...
Then you should be able to update Serverlist and add servers to favorites
...

In the fact (like I wrote on another post) I'm not able to add the new servers to my favorite list.
I can join the new servers by writing the IP adress ant the port number, but I can not to add them to my favorites. And I don't see neither the new servers in the general list of server.

Hi there,
Since you have changed the server IP I can't see it in my HLSW game browser anymore. As far as I know the new IP is 163.172.13.221:14568, am I right? HLSW usually needs some expansion number just after the port number (like for ex. 108.61.255.31:14567:23000 Oz Wake [CD 1.61/Origin 1.612] so maybe this is the problem. My HLSW never disappointed me and it seems it works fine.
Looking for an advice.
It seems that I have a similar problem : I don't see the new servers online when I make a refresh of server list.
However, if I write directlly the IP server with the port number I can join it, but I can't add it to my favorites server.

Если тебе не трудно, не можешь подсказать как добавить в фавориты новые сервера?
Я попытался добавить в фавориты и у меня не получается, но если хочу присоединится к игре и пишу новый ИП то подключаюсь без проблем. Не понимаю почему так...
И кстати, не вижу новые сервера в списке, только старые. Если бы они были тaм, смог бы добавить в фавориты без проблем. Спасибо.

Yes, it's true. You are right. I thought that the server rules forbid the use of these kinds of names.
I did well to have asked the question here before doing something (kick, etc).
About my disappointment: it's in relation to the inadequate responses of members of this forum to my question, not regarding the reply of seventy.

The problem is that I should have received the answer from seventy or another member from the beginning and not to read all this unpleasant answers that are absolutely useless.
That's why forums exist: find the right answer or read it from another member.

I hope I can answer this question to you: Yes, all names of politicians are accepted on the servers. There have been quite a few discussions about this already with the same result.

If you feel the need to run around and make yourself an "Idiot" with a bold name like "Adolf" or "Putin" then keep going, we'll see how far you'll come... I prefer beeing creative. Choose a nick that's unique, that has something to tell... or that's even relevant to yourself!
It's not me that choose a nickname like Putin... or something like that.
I'm playing using my unique nickname like you wrote, of course.
So, to resume, if the nickname does not offend a nation, race, culture, etc... it can be used during the game even if it's a name of god, politician, dictator, president, etc.

I have no problems with any kind of names. I just dont like when people offending religious feelings with nicks like " I hate all muslims'' Mahomet was gay, frick Jesus... etc. All other nicks are ok for me

Accordinf to the rules of the server, it seems to me that the idea was to forbid that players use names of players who could offend another race, nation, etc...
So, in theory, the use of the names of politicians should be accepted...
It's just that accepting a player named Hitler, for example, seems strange to me...
Any ideas?

Before you offend someone, it's better to see your class history again: there are plenty of people who will tell you that some politicians are considered dictators in different countries. I do not want to start a discussion about it now, I just want to avoid the misinterpretation, we must apply the same rules for our players.
Plus, I'm not a moron as you think about all Canadians. Shame of you.

When I switched the team I did not see any player abusing the rules. And I don't want to ban someone without seeing PERSONALLY how he abused a rule. I repeat: I begin with a kick and after that (may be) I will give a ban.
I'm really sorry if you was killed by a teammate. Report it.
If I had seen someone abusing, I would have kicked him.
