I will help you.
Ping varies wildly from game-to-game.
I would suggest you to keep the following instructions while playing online game.
1.Don't open any videos,stream and check if there any problem in your router.
2.Make sure there's no browser .exe's still running in task manager
3.Try to contact your internet service provider and get suitable data plan.
4.Move closer to server
I am sure,if you follow the rules,you will get chance to reduce your ping rate.Finally you can check whether it's your ping is reduced or not.

If you get any high ping ,try to lower your ping rate by using some of the following instructions.
1.Don't open any videos,stream and check if there any problem in your router.

5.Move closer to server
I am sure,if you follow the rules,you will get chance to reduce your ping rate.When i had a ping issue,i followed the same ways.Now i have better ping rate.So only i would recommend this ways.Then you can check your reduced ping rate.

Ya,I agree with you.
Distance is one of the main reason to get high ping rate.When i had the same situation,i moved  close to my server.Now my ping is better than before.Then i checked my new ping rate

I don't have experience in any ping reducing program.
When i had high ping problem.I kept some of the following points.

Now i have good ping rate.I checked my current ping status.
