Hi skandia, is there a way to see live player stats in servers that have more than 64 players online? I noticed that sometimes you can’t see the player stats for those servers.
Also, do you plan on displaying a global player rankings page, on top of the per server rankings the website currently displays now?

Doesn't look like there are any participants besides madmax

1. Multiple Rounds on a map is a bad idea and I personally never saw a ladder do this before. Maps favor some skills over others, ending up on a map that favors your opponents is fine if the next one doesn't or favors you. It's like a new battle with different considerations, but 2 rounds on the same map is very demoralizing to the losing team of round 1. (I know from personal experience). When the one Ladder we won we faced our rivals on 2 maps without planes!!!2. Normally one round on 3 maps, you play the first 2 maps and 3rd one is used as a tie breaker if teams are 1-1. The specific maps are revealed to the teams 1 week prior to the match.
3. One teams get to pick first and third round map, other team gets home field advantage by having round one / three played on their server.
Well that's how it was done back in the day, let me know if you like these ideas.
Looking forward to it.
Hi FlameHaze, thanks for registering your team and your suggestions.
The format of this competition is a single elimination knockout tournament meaning if you lose once you’re out. It’s not a ladder, although I might make one in the future if there is interest for it. We might also explore doing a ladder if we don’t have enough teams for the single elimination tournament.
Teams usually do two rounds per map, but switch sides after each round. This makes the match interesting and not redundant by playing on the same side twice.
I’m going to give this registration period another week.

Could I participate without a diacord account? That app is awfully bloated and has an ugly interface
Discord makes things easier for contacting your opponents but that’s fine, just make sure you check your SiMPLE PMs.
If you’re so pro why don’t you join this thing and show us what you’re made of?
Deeko where are you? Simon stop hiding
Hi everyone,
With everything getting so quiet recently I decided to host a tank tournament. On this thread, you can register your team or join an existing one if you don't have any.
All relevant info concerning the cup can be found below:
1. Format
- The cup will be a single elimination knockout tournament. There is room for 8 teams.
- The game mode of the competition will be 2v2 Conquest.
- Each match will consist of a single map and two rounds will be played per match.
- Each round will be 20 minutes long.
2. Rules
- Only tanks are allowed, any form of infantry action outside of your tank is forbidden except to repair it.
- Each contestant must have a working version of the PunkBuster client.
- Each contestant will record their games. After each game, the recordings will be sent to the cup administrator via PM on SiMPLE. The recordings will then be uploaded to the YouTube channel for everyone to see. If you already have a YT channel you can also upload your recordings there.
- The final game might be casted (no promises) on Twitch
- Each contestant must have a Discord account. A Discord server will be created for match arranging purposes
3. Maps
- Different tank ladder maps will be played for each stage of the competition
- Since we have three stages to go through (Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and the Final), the map pool might be something like TL_Cambrai, TL_Aberdeen and TL_Tank_Arena. I'm open to suggestions though
4. Servers
- BF League servers will be used for the games since all of them already come with the tank ladder maps
5. Match results and rankings
- All match results and rankings will be reported in a seperate thread in the SiMPLE forums (not the Discord)
6. Registration
To register, please fill in the following form and post it as a reply to this thead:
1. Your team name + tag
2. Your team members
3. The Discord IDs of each member of your team
4. Whether you and your team members read the rules and acknowledge them
7. Match calendar
The cup will start once the registration phase is over. Once we get enough teams (8), the games will occur each weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at 20:30 CET.
The Discord server is coming up, I will post the link for it here once it's ready. There will also be a YouTube server and Twitch channel set up shortly.

Nope, no time. Good luck!
No more memo maps this time
You are not welcomed here. Nobody likes you here, nobody even likes you in real life. You literally are tragic. Pack your stuff and leave. Only licking someone’s crotch got you here, but that wont last long and neither will you.
- most useless guy ever
- not doing a damn thing for the server, all you do is trying to satistfy your ego with gold medals like lost case 000. All hated him, almost everyone started hating you here too. Go find some help, you bum
- no wonder half server dislikes you, no wonder your name is tragic, you are total failure hiding behind admin power. Thats your biggest acheivment of your life and even that was undeserved. Wont take long, even Baumer wont save you
Do you really need to insult him personally? Come on man.

- The ability to filter player numbers by mod;
- Long term player data (since when you started capturing the data) if that doesn’t affect performance too much;
- Moving average on long term player data;
- Minimum and maximum player counts displayed as a line on the graph, with labels, instead of underneath the graphI've made a few changes to try and capture the trends - let me know what you think.
I don't have all the data I need to add the mod filtering quickly - but I will take a look into it.
It looks incredible, thank you skandia!

How did we normalize Thompsons in Stalingrad? It should just be MP40 vs MP18 like the good old days.
Couple of new features
- Placements leaderboards. Rankings based on how many 1st, 2nd and 3rd places you've received. You can slice it by changing the minimum number of players in the round. A higher number of players means the ranking had more opposition.
- Will add team stats next, to track the winning team, and record that on the player profile. Will also show it on the server details page to show team winning stats per map
Excellent work as usual.
Why can’t we all just get along? Let’s all sing together

Sure I've added that graph to the server listings page.
I do capture a lot of information and want to spend some time on the analytics side of it, to look at what interesting details I can glean. AI can do a nice job summarising data in a riendly way - I might look at how it can help with that to start with.
Looks fantastic, thanks.
Thanks all - and appreciate the honesty in the poll
It started off very simple, and players like tragic have been providing some useful suggestions, so if you have an idea lmk.
Code is in GitHub for those who know their way around raising Issues / PRs.

Hi All,
After a lot of work, I'm excited to finally launch a project I've been building for the BF1942 community. My goal was to create a modern, fast hub for everything Battlefield 1942. Here's a quick rundown of what it can do:
Live Server List: You can browse a live list of servers, automatically sorted by who's online. Clicking a server takes you to a detailed page with a full scoreboard (split by team), a player history graph, the server's top 10 players, and a chart of the most played maps.
Player Search & Profiles: There's a full player search so you can look up anyone by name. Every player gets their own profile page showing their overall K/D, total score, playtime, and a full history of their recent matches.
Round History: Want to find a specific match? The Round History page is fully searchable by server name, map, or IP. You can click on any round to see the final scoreboard and who played in it.
Game & Mod Downloads: A Play Now Guide with easy instructions for installing the game on a modern PC, plus a Mod Downloads section with links for DC, GC, IS82, and BF1918.
I hope this becomes a valuable resource for everyone. Check it out and let me know what you think!
This site is currently under active development. You may run into bugs or GUI errors. If there are any features or requests that you would like to see please let me know.
Mods, if this is not appropriate, please let me know and I'll delete this post. Thanks!
Site Address: bf1942.online
Cool, good job owlcat! I’ll be checking out the website.
Mastech wrote:Oh i love you so much,i have no point to prove hunni xx
Then you'll just be another black mamba or killer88, posting nonsense. If you want your posts to hold any weight you do have to prove a point
Don’t mention my name you filthy rat. I don’t associate with scumbags like you.
Hi Sky, appreciate the concern. If you haven’t had a chance yet, I recommend checking out the video that Deeko (immersion) posted of his perspective from the Omaha round. It shows how a player with good aim, positioning, and knowledge can significantly outperform the more casual players. Watching good players is one of the best ways to learn.
Additionally, if you ever have concerns in the future then it’s helpful to post your perspective too.
You must be joking. A good player would try to cap the flag instead of just spawn killing like Mastech said. This isn’t TDM.
