For over two millennia, France has been the the focal point of numerous conflicts and invasions.  France has  endured invasions from  Romans, Huns, Goths, Moors, Vikings, English, and Germans, all withstanding the test of time.  At times, the onslaught of invasion was so great that it required an extrodinary person, a phoenix, to lead the Franks to victory.  When war broke out between Germany and France in 1939, the French people required a vision to lead them against the Germans, bent on avenging their defeat in the Great War.  This struggle between Franks and Germans would take through the woods of the Ardennes, the sands of North Africa, the bocage of Normandy, and the countryside of the interior.  This is the story of that phoenix, Charles de Gaulle and the Free French.

In this campaign, you will get the choice of fighting as a Free French soldier in a struggle against conquest, or as a German Heer soldat serving the fatherland and avenging the humiliation of Versailles...

Experience a balanced and exhilarating Forgotten Hope 1 campaign with:

  • A continuing legacy for Battlefield 1942.

  • Organized tournament play featuring custom maps specifically modified for competitive tournament play.

  • WW2 gameplay as it ought to be played on the Forgotten Honor minimod of FH1.

  • Grueling Saturday battles in combined arms ranging from conflicts in the air, tank duels in the desert, and melees in the bocage.

  • 2 sides led by experienced veterans with teamwork oriented armies employing strategies and co-operation with promotions and rewards for your achievements.

  • New friendships with like minded people from all over the world

  • It is free and everybody is welcome!

What is a campaign?
A campaign is a series of connected battles where we recreate the timeline of the war. Here at Forgotten Honor it also means teamplay and organized gameplay. Campaigns take about 8-10 weeks and every Saturday we will have one 4-hour battle. All battles are counted towards the final score which determines the army that won the overall campaign.

Every army has a training server to use during the week for scouting and practice, as well as their own Teamspeak channels and locked sub-forums (we call them barracks) for communication and entertainment. Everyone can participate in all weekly activities and events as much as they want!

The Middle East, site of the dawn of antiquity.  For half of a millennia, the Ottoman Empire has ruled the region as part of its Empire.  Fearing a waning Empire, the sultanate chose to side with the Central Powers.  For the first time in nearly a thousand years, a European power has come to wrestle control of the region away from the Ottomans.  Rather than fighting a war between lancers and swordsmen, a modern warfare emerged across the desert featuring machine guns, armored vehicles, and aircraft. Graveyards of carnage will take place across the Middle East from the cliffs of Gallipoli, to the sands of Arabia, and the ancient cities of Bagdad, Damascus, and Jerusalem.

In this campaign, you will get the choice of serving as a British Commonwealth soldier, fighting against the Turks, or as a Ottoman warrior serving the interests of the sultanate.

Experience a balanced and exhilarating Battlefield 1918 campaign with:

  • Grueling Saturday battles in combined arms ranging from battles on the high seas, amphibious landings, and battles of the harsh Arabian desert

  • 2 sides led by experienced veterans with teamwork oriented armies employing strategies and co-operation with promotions and rewards for your achievements.

December 7, 1941, a date that will in live in infamy.  Japan's surprise attack on the United States, United Kingdom, and other European powers marked the culmination of less than a century of Japanese transformation from an agrarian feudal state to one of the world's great industrial powers.  The Empire of Japan decided to launch what it considered to be a noble struggle against the West.  However, a sleeping giant had been awakened that would not allow what it considered to be wanton aggression to go unchecked.  Fours years of war between two great powers would see remote islands become the graves of countless warriors.  Islands such as Iwo Jima, Java,  Midway, Guadalcanal, and many more would characterize the carnage of the Pacific War and the heroics of the soldiers of both sides of the fighting.

In this campaign, you will get the choice of serving as an American Marine, hoping to avenge Pearl Harbor and defend the Pacific from aggression, or as a Japanese warrior serving the Emperor and seeking to remove Western influence from the Orient.

June 22, 1941, a date that would likely change the fate and political landscape of Europe forever.  Nearly 4 million Axis soldiers, comprising of armies from Germany, Italy, and Romania violated the precarious nonaggression pact between Germany and the Soviet Union by launching a full invasion of the latter.  Finland and Hungary would join suite in the follow weeks.  Operation Barbarossa would entail one of the largest invasion forces in human history.   Battlefields such as Stalingrad, Leningrad, Moscow, Sevastopol, and Kursk would become synomynous of the gore, devastation, and suffering of the Eastern Front.

In this campaign, you will get the choice of serving as a German soldier in the Ostfront, attempting to defy Napoleon's legacy, or as a Red Army soldier, fighting a crucible of national survival in the Great Patriotic War.

The Western Front of the First World War was a war of disease-infected trenches, hellacious artillery barrages, toxic gases, early armored beasts, revolutionary duels between knights in the air, and charges of unrestrained courage.  Many of Europe's last Empires met their end in no man's land and disorder at home.

In this campaign, you will get the choice to serve as an Entente soldier, protecting France and the Low Countries from another Germanic invasion, or an Imperial German stormtrooper, serving as the guard on the Rhine and marching on the long road to Paris.

Experience a balanced and exhilarating Battlefield 1918 campaign with:

*  A continuing legacy for Battlefield 1918
*  A unique virtual reenactment of WW1 including combined arms operations between infantry, artillery, tanks, and bi-planes.
*  Over 10 grueling Saturday battles in the Belgian and French countryside.
*  2 sides led by experienced veterans nominated by you, the player, with teamwork oriented armies employing strategies and co-operation with promotions and   rewards for your achievements.
*  New friendships with likeminded people from all over the world
*  It is free and everybody is welcome!

How does it all work? Simple! In the beginning of every week our campaign management announces which map will be played that Saturday. Headquarters and officers of each army are responsible for creating plans and strategies which will be used for that map, as well as awarding medals and promotions for last week's battle.

Every army has a training server to use during the week for scouting and practice, as well as their own Teamspeak channels and locked sub-forums (we call them barracks) for communication and entertainment. Everyone can participate in all weekly activities and events as much as they want!
