Windows 7 x64 Compatibility

If you have Windows 7 x64 installed on your PC and also have some problems with Battlefield 1942 crashes to desktop without any error, try to change the compatibility settings (to Windows XP SP3) of these files and run it as administrator:

1. Right-click the file, and then click Properties.
2. In the Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.
3. Click on Run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows XP SP3.
4. Select the Run This Program As An Administrator check box.

bf1942.exe
%LOCALAPPDATA%PunkBusterBF1942pbPnkBstrB.exe
%SYSTEMROOT%SysWOW64PnkBstrA.exe
%SYSTEMROOT%SysWOW64PnkBstrB.exe

As far as I know, it's possible:

start /affinity 1 FileName.exe
