People are drifting to the right here in Germany, after the new year even more. The press in Germany is not controlled like in Austria for example. We have a few rich families who own almost the whole media and they keep talking the same bullshit day in and day out. You can still find journalists who talk about the truth. The mass media suck here... i hate BILD, Spiegel, Focus etc... bunch of idiots.

Nowadays it doesn't matter what the truth is. People watch TV and read the newspapers only because of necessity to reach the last information about what's going on around them. The majority blindly believe in everything from one or one kind sources because they are too lazy or too stupid to get the information somewhere else. It requires some kind of critical and also rational thinking with following analysis of the information given from different sources. If the majority isn't capable of this, people will always be fooled then. There are some countries where it deals in absolutes and, watching people from there, I just have a feeling like I watch a reality show.

I might also add that the first picture was taken in Frankfurt and not Cologne.
