Battlefield 2 down - but revived

...

Since 2 days those both masterservers are down, (incl bf2142). If you want to play Bf2 now, visit www.battlelog.co and follow instructions.

> You can still backup your old GamespyAccount

Instructions

> Download the Launcher from the mainpage

> Install it into your Bf2-folder

> Start > Bf2rlite.exe from your Bf2-folder and register with your old account name. Use your old password, if you know it, otherwise choose a new one.

(Now you will be logged in into the website through browser.

> Go to "My CP" and autobackup your stats from your account.

After you close the browser.

(perhaps you should log out the launcher and relogin, i don't know it for sure, ... i would.)

> After the launcher restartet, login and play bf2

1. For each of your accounts you need a separat new registration with another email-adress. (Same as with all Bf2-Accounts).

2. There is also a solution with bf2hub, which can retract your accounts too with a tool. For people, who forgot their old PW, it exists a decrypter for the password. (i made it with battlelog.co, but only to made it. I was not playing bf2 online since a long time.

Woah, this is seriously MAJOR news

THIS IS IT BOYS AND GIRLS

Just checked, bf2 population is at 25 % of its usual average ... doomsday is here

If bf2 + 2142 master servers are down, then i'm 90 % sure 1942's will go down within next 30 days

can anybody finally confirm with total certainty that those two master servers are down?

yes, it's down... when i heared it, (yesterday night), i tried to start bf2 > back to desktop without any view in the mainmenu of the game. Because of that i tried out the workaround and it's working good.
