Here in Lisbon, the fear is around...
today I opened my shop and the general situation seems normal, but the people are really scared, with masks, gloves and spraying alcohol on everything.

Let’s see the following days.

We're limited to take-out food only in my state.  It was announced yesterday, and continues until March 30th.

situation in spain:

the goverment predicted that we will have around 10.000 coronavirus cases or more, if so they will take more measures against the virus.

pharmacy, hospitals, food shops, are open for anyone who needs basic things knowing that we need to keep 1 meter and a half of distance between people.

the ones that have dog like i do we can walk with  them outside. (some friends take their dogs to walk more than 10 times a day)

like in Italy we have our balcony DJ´s.

pensioner will be able to take their money in the bank.

the goverment will help autonomous  depending of where they are (Galicia, Murcia, La Rioja....) 

                    take care and happy coronavirus holidays

Ps: recommend me good movies or films about Mafia or gangs they usually have an awesome argument in this type of things.

Movies: The departed, Snatch, Lock stock and two smoking barrels, Rock'n'Rolla, The Boondock Saints, Godfather trilogy, Pulp fiction
Netflix is highly recommended for series/movies, some real good stuff there.

i woke up a few hours ago and i turned on my tv i guess i have great news:

We are near to develop a vaccine against coronavirus, this vaccine have being tested in other coronavirus with almost the same structure as covid-19 giving the result of pulverized, we are waiting for authorities to give permission to test with people infected with covid-19.

a simple precaution measures can reduce the risk of getting sick and become a part of link of virus spreading, it might save lifes in a long outcome, what is wrong about it? you're too self assured and seem not understand that its not only about you but also people who contact with you  all the 3 if count mail man

if we talk about the second wave of the spanish flu that was so deadly. those that already got infected with the mild first wave had immunity to the second wave. it could be smart to get infected with it when it is not so dangerous to get some immunity, but if all ppl where thinking like this then the flu would have more hosts to mutate into a deadly second wave. nothing is black/white.

So "dumb" is a relative word. Let me try to explain. Pretty much it is guaranteed to come to your Town, wherever you live. If one million people are infected in the first 2 weeks, the Hospitals simply cannot keep up with the demand. One million people, in 2 weeks. Just too much.
  Those SAME one million, if we simply SLOW down the speed, hopefully stretching that SAME one million folks, over a Month or 6 weeks, it MIGHT allow the Hospitals a chance to keep up.
  One million are STILL going to get sick, just at a slower pace.
THAT is the SiMPLE reason to try and isolate somewhat, wash hands more thoroughly, ALL the ideas being suggested, are typically from EDUCATED folks, experts and or specialists in this issue. I have a feeling, they MIGHT just know something more than we do. Unless the "WE" are PHD folks.
Not so "dumb" when digested. Just think a small amount over this and it will make sense. Yup we are going to get sick. Yup if we can SLOW down the speed of it, it JUST MIGHT help.  NOTHING to do with a Deity or not. Like you said,........its SCIENCE.

in Dnepropetrovsk 44 artisis from the troupe of the Opera and Ballet Theater were quarantined today. they came back from touring France and 3 of them got simptoms of corona, i belive it was noticed only because they are kinda public persons, i imagine how many infected people just walking around under antipyretic pills not knowing they are coronned

I have watched some german TV channel, some guy was talking how corona can not be held anymore, but only postponed, world has crossed point of stopping it the day world health organization declared pandemic, around 2/3 of germans will get sick eventually.
Of those 2/3, 80% will have mild symptoms and would not need any medical care, 14% will need light medical care, while 6% will need intensive care, again 6% is around 1 million ppl.
So now government is only trying to delay it, postpone it, so it would not infect those 2/3 all at once, which would have catastrophic effect, everything would collapse..
That's why they say ppl should wash hand, wear masks.. they are buying time.
What goes for Germany, goes for all of Europe and world in total.
Corona is something like alter ego of the infamous Spanish flue pandemic which occurred 100 years earlier.

To be honest , not so much. I have moved to a new shop to expand my business and used my economies to do that, February was great, and this month started very well, but I’m concerned about the next month, you know, the bills are never sick, and need to be paid...

Aight so this is how situation is in Italy right now.You know what QUARANTINE means?People CAN'T go to work because EVERYTHING IS CLOSED.Universities and schools too.Police and even army is patrolling the streets, it's forbidden to go out without a proved reason and to travel without a permission.It's strictly forbidden to get in groups.The streets are EMPTY (a part from police agents).In supermarkets there are very few people.Hospitals are full and working overtime.People stay away from each other.How can you call these people cowards?
I stay home and so does majority of 60 mln italians, because it's  COMMON SENSE and also because it's a rule.

News: 4 days ago, there was a wedding on my city, and there were about 100 people. According to officials, one person (the signer to be more specific) is now in Germany and has been tested positive with covid-19. Everything but some bakeries and local (minor) stores are closed due to the high risk of spread.

The thing is, you don't even know what is happening here. Thousands of people are tested positive with coronavirus in Balkans, let alone south Europe (Italy, Spain, Portugal)... The situation is so bad I feel like we are in a war (and let me tell you, I was part of war at the age of 6/7 about 22 years ago, I know how terrific it is).
Probably you spend time on your god-damn desktop seat all the day, but other people have to work, so they afford to feed their families.
