RtR Video issues

I've installed the expansion packs (finally) and despite having settings set to 1080 x 1920 the screen is blurry and quite a lot of flickering.
Tried 50 hz and 60 hz but still the same.
Card is a 1070 GTX in Win7 64.

Was there a patch for the widescreen BF1942 that would fix this?

You meant 1920x1080 i guess.

Change in NvidiaControlPanel > Manage 3d Settings > ProgramSettings >Battlefield 1942 > Desired framerate > Maximum.

Then play once and if it's better, you could use a framelimiter. (Because it's senseless to play with i guess 1500FPS).

To try out, you could open Console in the game and write there "renderer.lockfps 477"  (You need to make this allways again, when the new map finished loading).

If this FPS works, you can use Nvidia ProfilInspector to limit it to 237 HZ, (for a 60Hz Monitor). (Multiple of the Hz from the monitor, -2 to -3

After this you will have allways this FPS InGame.

Bought the card a couple of years ago for future BF games but BF1942 is like wearing a comfy pair of slippers
