I have a lot of interests, but not any particular hobby. With that said i have tried a lot of different stuff, like different sports and music, but as i stopped i guess it wasnt really my thing. I do like to cruise around on a bike, but i dont count that as a hobby.

Seriously, I find myself rushing jobs when I'm out on site as a field engineer so I can get back and get on with some gaming.

Now looking to buy an air rifle with scope and practise sniping vermin and also a bit of target shooting, plinking etc.
I guess there is a crossover here between BF1942 and shooting air weapons smile

Also into IndyCar and going to be in Toronto next month for the Honda Indy.
Bought a DJI Phantom drone back in February but not yet got round to getting it out of the box yet (damned BF1942).
Future hobbies on the horizon are 3D printing, could probably sort out RaketenHorst with a 3D modeled vagina to supplement his hobby smile

Re: Share your hobby with us.

I own the Ruger Hawk, its VERY inexpensive (got mine $100.00 USA) Not the quality of a high end, however it is plenty accurate for our vermin issues. It is not quiet however......

Yes! That was from my celtic rock band, and yeah, i'm a monk(so is everyone in the band)

The jew's /jaw's harp is a simple but surprisingly versatile instrument, so is didgeridoo (i'm looking forward to buying one to bring it to the woods with my friends and do some ambientation). I saw that video, it's in my ancestral sounds playlist haha

That 00:29 sounds like a grenade launcher firing xD

This is another great player of didgeridoo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yG9ZX1F … dex=8&t=0s
This is another great player of the jew's harp: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YeAp1fPt8Eg&t=117s

This is another weird but cool instrument:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLAVtOnMfMM&list=PLm9Shoge5MJFCIVa98XQGyicrT8fMYgsD&index=4&t=0s

the carnyx is a celtic instrument from 300 bc it resembles the sound of the trombone(and in fact is an ancestor) but it's not tuneable.
It was used in the battlefields to inspire fear to the enemies, with their superhuman sound and creepy skulls.

Just imagine, you are the enemy that just arrives to the foggy Scotland... and out of the sudden start hearing this with the reverb of the mountains from different angles...

Sadly not possible since these instruments can't do notes and are more headed towards rythmic/ambience types of sound

Already watched quite a few vermin control videos on YT, some are quite graphic.

You are fortunate to live somewhere where you can hunt with real guns ( for better or worse), we are restricted to air weapons.

I've accumulated 4 over the last few months,  a PCP rifle, a .22 air rifle, a .177 PCP pistol and a Remington tactical Colt 1911 steel bb with full blowback.

I have a Hawke scope on the PCP,  a standard scope on the air rifle and a red dot laser alongside a holographic sight on the pistol.

Not done any vermin hunting yet but it seems that grey squirrels are fair game given the disease which they are immune to but is killing our natural red squirrels here in the UK.

Might target greys and rats going forward and perfect my sniper skills into the bargain.

Oh, and going back to my original post, I've since bought a 3D printer and it is one of the best damned things I've ever bought.
Thought I'd end up printing a few plastic characters and that would be that but seriously, they are very useful pieces of kit for printing pretty much anything you need.

Do you ever hunt smallgame like rabbits? I haven't for a few years but used a 20g and sometimes a .22 but they weren't air rifles. My dad has used a .22 air rifle for a long time though. Rabbits are delicious!
