auto kick on AX

I know this is a bit misplaced but since there seems no way to contact the guys at AX to fix this problem, I thought someone here might be able to help.

I recently installed 1942 and got it working (thanks to a lot of the advice on this forum).
When i try to join the ax server I get kicked within the first 10-15 seconds. I have never been on their server before, so it cant be a ban.
I have found lots of people complaining about this, but no fix.

Re: auto kick on AX

I am not sure if you are DoubTi, but anyway you share the same problem. Your internet connection has a very poor routing to SiMPLE server, packets go from Denmark to New York, USA and then to Paris, France. The same route back and forth.

I think that may be the reason why you are getting auto kicked from aX server. You should do a ping or, even better, a traceroute to aX server and post the results.

You can do a traceroute in Windows, by downloading WinMTR and typing ax.bf1942.sk in it.

Re: auto kick on AX

Using a vpn from denmark or near country  might help you if the vpn route  changes before going out of Denmark , i tested 4 5 different vpn routes and they all worked on ax bwcause of good routing

Re: auto kick on AX

I think you will be auto kicked from aX server by using a VPN.

He should use a different internet connection. A quick way to test is creating a mobile hotspot from your smartphone and use it to connect to aX server.

Re: auto kick on AX

Tried WinMTR but nothing seems to happen when I press start.
Will try another connection and maybe a vpn and report back

Re: auto kick on AX

Tried from another network (phone) and it seemed to work. Not a sustainable solution though.
It seems Ax are very bad at running a server
