Due the militaric cooperation, (developement), between the Nazis and Russia before world war II, the T34, based on the scripts from the Tiger, was at the end the downfall of germany.

Re: German tanks

It may not be quite as simple as the T-34 being the decisive factor in Germanys downfall. It was a good tank in many ways, and a bad tank in many. People overlook it's defects the same way they do the Tiger. Once the good bits are weighed against the bad bits it's a numbers game. A Two-Front War was the really decisive factor. I doubt those T-34's would have made the difference if the full weight of Third Reich military power was focused on a single Eastern Front with no impediment from the West.

Re: German tanks

...

The russians had 54.600 T34 Tanks and also much more men, artillerie etc.

The war was allready lost for the Axis in 1941. The germans just didn't know it. They didn't have the ressources to win it.

If Adolf would had start his war as it was planned, in 1944, (and massproducing the Me262, forget Maus etc.), it could be, the outcome would have been different. (Who knows, perhaps the germans would have had nukes also in 1945/46.)

Re: German tanks

Just a small mistake. The Russian tanks based on older german tanks.

...

Zitat:

Relations in the 1920s

German staff at Tomka chemical weapons facility, Soviet Union, 1928

Since the late nineteenth century, Germany, which has few natural resources,[23][24] had relied heavily upon Russian imports of raw materials.[25] Before World War I, Germany imported 1.5 billion German Reichsmarks of raw materials and other goods per year from Russia.[25] This fell after World War I, but after trade agreements signed between the two countries in the mid-1920s, trade had increased to 433 million Reichsmarks per year by 1927.[26] In the late 1920s, Germany helped Soviet industry begin to modernize, and to assist in the establishment of tank production facilities at the Leningrad Bolshevik Factory and the Kharkov Locomotive Factory.

...

You know. I saw a documentation ~2-3 years ago about this militaric cooperation after WW1

Please, don't insult people's intelligence, especially those who think that Switzerland has one of the best educational systems. It's not the first time you do it and sometimes it's better to check the sources and to think on your own. You write articles here about Russian T-34 which based on German tanks, in your opinion. The relations between Germany and Soviet Union in 1920s, between two World Wars, are very far-fetched occurrences considering T-34, which supposed to be designed only in 1937-1940 and produced in 1940-1958. This 20 years old difference is very significant for the whole World history of those days. It's a kind of absurd like to use Windows 95 these days and guess it's an actual operating system in 2018.

Every time I see European or American documentary about my country or about my country's history, it usually makes me laugh or makes me angry. And I don't really care the majority of such content consists of lies and bullshit, the fact that people watch it and blindly believe it makes me angry.

Re: German tanks

...

They started a cooperation just before Rapallo Contract 1922. You forget, that Soviets were friendly with germans, which helped Lenin financial and to get back to russia.

The germans produced Army Material in Soveitunion and on contrary the gave instructors, Engineers and knowlegde. (To surround the versailles contract).

...

...

And now tell me. The russian weapon industrie was just bad in those times. If they had Instructors, Engineers and GermanTank Production in their own country, you still think they didn't use all this?

In this docu, they showed many original pics from german and russian Engineers working together building tanks in this Tank Factory, standing around the table with the TankConstructionPlans.

And there is nothing wrong with that. Mostly new weapons were/are based on an opponents weapon, (AK47 as example based on the STG44), mostly with the help of other countries Engineers.

The Mercury and Apollo Project were only possible because of the knowledge of german Rocket Programm and the help of Werner von Braun.

You can see it also vice versa.

Due the cooperation of Republic Weimar and Sovietunion, the soviets helped the germans to prepare everything for WW2.

The cooperation ended in Dezember 1932 and 1933 completly, when hitler came in Charge. But now the germans had the basis to produce with the fall of restriction from the Versailles Treaty 1934. Germans were now allowed to produce tanks and other weapons.

In 1934 the planning/building of massproduction of new planes and tanks began.

You know. Siemens and Krupp gets also so big because of the cooperation with Russia between the two wars.

https://www.diploweb.com/p5thorner1.htm (4. Weimarer Republik: Rapallo und die geheime deutsch-sowjetische Kooperation)

1931 From the overall Import into Russia 46% came from germany. I don't think they delievered only potatoes.

Panzerschool Kasan. Krupp tested there their prototypes.

Re: German tanks

The quality of vehicles built and engineered by the Germans has always been exceptional. They were meant to last and stand firm against heavy duty.
Older models of Mercedes Benz are a fine example of exactly that. Comfort, timeless appearance, power and durability gave reason even for the leaders of Russia to pick their presidental state car from the "bloody western" automaker.

Mich fasziniert, mit welcher Selbstverständlichkeit der W126 dasteht.
SEL und SEC sind meiner Meinung nach immer noch die geilsten Mercedes die es gibt.
Leider wird so etwas heute nicht mehr gebaut, schade.
