Hello,

I have this Desktop PC:
Mobo: Intel DG41RQ
CPU: core 2 duo E7500
GPU: Sapphire AMD 5450 2 GB
RAM: Dynet 4 GB
Monitor: ASUS VH203

The problem is, when I press the refresh button via mouse or just press F5, the display blacks out for few seconds.
some times, display blacks out even when not pressing F5 !
Its happening since a few hours now ! sad

Thanks in advance for all your help guys !

Re: Issue when Refreshing

Most common problem after long use is dust buildup around heatsinks and fans, if you havent already take a look inside and check it out.

Funny thing is, its for now happening only while using Opera Browser !
Its rebooted now several times, So I stopped using Opera for now...
Don't know what will happen next  sad

Re: Issue when Refreshing

I think I would be tempted to look at a fault with the PSU.  Further to what Bud has said have a close look at the regulators to the left of the CPU, they can have grey like dust deposits on them and it can be conductive.
Also try taking out the GPU card and use the on board only and see what happens then.

So it can be the PSU !
I'll just disasemble it, clean it up throughly and then see what heppens.
This time I'll open up the PSU too..

And BTW D, its rebooting only after I removed the GPU card and its on on board only, as I mentioned above. smile

Re: Issue when Refreshing

Sounds like Chrome GPU acceleration issue. Try other browsers or disable GPU for Chrome/Iron/Opera/Vivaldi or any other Chromium based browser.
